  Amazing location: next to the Rain Forest Discovery CentreWonderful Service: Staff are very attentive and friendly. Extremely helpfulFood: the food though simple, is better than expected. Worth eating in their in-house restaurant. Simple and freshThe facilities are constantly upgraded with little corners of surprises like the brick men. Clean and so quiet you can hear the nature out there surrounding you.Great value for getaway from the urban hustle and bustle.Nice rustle touch with modern comfort.   Ok stay location great

  Stayed here 3 nights, all very basic, but it works due to the location.Not great climbing the steps in the heat, to get to the rooms, but it is what it is.Food isn't the best or breakfast, but it's cheap and cheerful. Staff advise that if you want your room cleaning you have to ask, same as if you want extra coffee,towels etc.They we're more than happy to accommodate you.

  Great Hotel for travellers that coming to Sepilok!

  Experiende a wonderful stay here, upon arrival we were greeted by a very super friendly and welcoming staff at the reception and very knowledgeable as well, explaining to us about what can be done at Tanini Lodge and places to visit nearby which is very near to the lodge. Must visit the Orangutan sanctuary and rainforest discovery centre. Lots of nocturnal animal sighting if doing night walk activity at the rainforest discovery centre. The room was very clean and its become a wonderful staycation for us. Cold aircond and comfortable bed. Will come again for sure!

  We Stayed at room Gajah 12, mean the farthest room imthe have with many stairs to reach the room. The room and bathroom is big and clean but have only one chair. We get only one big towel each, and that's it. They will not clean the room everyday, we stayed there for 2 night and no one come to clean the room or change the towel. We asked for late check out (at 12 since the check out time is 11) but it was not possible even though the hotel is lack of visitor. The first day, there was a buffet breakfast some plain fried nuddle, sosages, raw vaggies, beans, water melon white bread with jam, corn flakes and you can order some egg on your choice. The coffee is cold and we needed to ask them to make a new one for us. The second day, they changed the breakfast to alacarte. You will get some beans, sousages, raw vaggies (all these looks from yesterday buffet) and some egg, and still same cold coffee, and we need to request a new one (don't they learn that the machine is not working?). When my husband askes for the second egg, they said the egg is only one porson per person. Why it was possible to have the second round yesterday but not today? And we warned you to not eat at the restaurant for lunch dinner. Walk abouy 50m it was very nice chinesse restaurant, delicius food and cheap. Over all, it's very disapointed experience for us with the price we paid. They could give us extra towel, 1 hour late check out and second round with egg will change the whole experince. For me it all about service, service and service!!!! Gajah 12 might be far for you, it is the favourite one of our directors who will always insist on that particular chalet when he stays with us. It is quiet and faces a garden. It is just beside Gajah 11 and 10, which also face this garden. All our guests get a large towel each, which is placed strategically with the chalet (is on the bed). We are not a 5 star property that provides 2-3 sets of towels and hand towels.Being in line with our rating, we do turn down service and exchange the linen only upon request. Had you requested it from our staff, we would have glad extended this service to you. We do get such requests once or twice within a month.As far as late check out is concerned, it is upon availability. There is no benefit for us not to extend it to you if we are empty. As it is, we were expecting a group on that day and we have already extended late check out to other guests. We need your chalets to get it ready for an incoming guest who would be happy to get that quiet chalet.As for Mango Garden Restaurant Sepilok, it is operated by another entity, but we have given them your feedbackWe truly agree that it is all about service. We do not profess to be a 4-5 star resort nor do we charge like one. We seek your understanding and enjoy your onward holiday.

  Great place to stay amongst the rainforest

  About 30 minutes from the Sendakan airport. Great place to stay amongst the rainforest. Friendly and knowledgeable person who checked us in. Also helped with our luggage. She also showed us lot of trees on the property - Durian, rambutan and others. This was a stopover for us prior to our journey next day to Sukau.
