Almost completely renovated and looking good.

This hotel is now called the Perkasa Hotel and is nearing the end of a complete renovation. Parts of the lobby and bar remain closed but the guest rooms have been modernised to a high standard and the view of Mount Kinabalu from the window was breathtaking!I had dinner here too and it was very good. There were not many guests staying just yet but when this is finished, it will be a gem.Do not be put off by earlier reviews, things have definitely changed here.

This was a hotel that came with a tour package but it was reasonable. A comfortable room with a good bathroom attached where all the plumbing worked as expected. The lobby was attractive and quite comfortable especially at this higher altitude. A couple of very good meals in their spacious dining room including dinner and breakfast. This place has some bad reviews on Trip Advisor but it was fine for one night.

Awful Hotel - Do not stay here!

This is definitely one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at. It is grubby, dirty and very tired. It is like taking a trip back to the 1970s - this is probably when this hotel was last refurbished! Such a shame, given its amazing location next to Mount Kinabalu.

I've been there in 2015. A family trip. Very nice place. The room is good but a little bit smelly. The view is amazing. The privacy is very good. If you like to walk around, this is the place to stay. The environment is great surrounded with forest. The hospitality is ok. Overall, I give 4/5. Recommended.Thank you.

Need Proper Maintenance

It's a good location but there is a lot to improve in terms of maintenance. Toilet flush isn't in good condition. Power outlet isn't working. Hair dryer & ironing isn't in good condition. Toilet doors isn't working. TV has no sound. Water faucet is loose. Maintenance isn't up to hotel standard.
