Location

The hotel is centrally located in the business district of Kota Kinabalu, less than 7 km from the international airport. Within walking distance of many government and commercial offices, shopping malls and places of interest in the city, making it the ideal place to stay for discerning business and leisure travellers.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 8 junior suites, 76 single rooms and 116 double rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Guests can also use the bicycle storage facilities.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including a gym, aerobics, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu.

    Center of Town but quiet near the river. Rooms with classic, tropical wooden furniture. Buffet restaurant for BF, Lunch and dinner. Manager Don Alphonso´s Team is very friendly and helpful. Seafood restaurants at Waterfront and CenterPoint Mall in walking distance. Equipped with everything you need. Had a great 2 days stay at reasonable prices. Finally… felt really at home there and extended my stay by 3 nights. Got an upgrade of my room and the service staff was great again. Thank you!

    I put a night at Sabah Oriental somewhere last month, and I was mesmerized to witnessed their accomodations and also the level of service provided to me and also my beloved family. The staff was kind and friendly and the most impressive was Daphne as she is knowledgeable and polite during our check in processes. Keep up the great momentum.     Was staying here with my sister for 3D2N due to water disruption at home. Issues:1. Dusty cupboard + spider's web inside. I have to think twice if want to keep clothes inside. 2. Iron not provided. Need to request with the hotel.3. Safety door lock broken. 4. No tv remote upon check in. We have to request with the hotel.Hopefully the hotel can fix everything so customers can sleep safe and sound!

    Cons: Room was a bit rundown. Furniture was dated. Safety door lock was broken. I think the mold of the bathtub and the shower curtain were the most horrific. Pros: Swimming pool was small but good enough to just relax and cool off yourself. Buffet breakfast with local, oriental and western styles selection which was reasonably good. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.It took at least 15 minutes walk to the nearest Imago mall. Would be much better to take Grab if you don't drive and if you are a solo traveller.
