    I was pretty happy with my 2 night stay here. The room was fairly clean. The free water and hot water, tea and coffee was great. Although just tea leaves instead of tea bags I found weird and funny tasting coffee. I found the staff all amazingly friendly and smiling which I like. Location I quite liked that side of Kota Kinabalu. I couldn't find it without asking the restaurant below where to go but not that hard. Wifi was good. Good budget option!

    Stayed at 31 Dec-1st Jan for New Year 2019..location on the 3rd floor of Star city building..lift available..seafood restaurant available nearby in the complex..parking no problem..reception during my check in was good..BUT..the room YES it is small..for no window..like a prison cell where everbody will stuck inside together..the toilets are wierd..no mirror available for my room 102..i guess its ok for anyone to stay for 1 night during peak season..jst i really hope Storytel management do improvement about this matter..

    The place is really Ok, its clean, they can arange a lot of trips for you directly on reception, just ask for the cataloge, or renting a car - its really cheap and its very pleasant to not run around car rental agencies (120 MYR/day). But the surroundings is really terrible, its in a complex of a mall, next to the garage. Corridors are filled with a lot of smells (around, not inside). Thats really unconfortable. However the stuff is very nice and helpful. Its near the city center, on foot few minutes.

    Great location when we eventually found it... signage is small and not visible from the seafood restaurant side of the building. A local worker showed us to the hotel after us searching for a while both in our grab and on foot.Room was clean and cosy but unfortunately we had no mirror and our shower was broken.Great aircon in the room, actually woke up cold during the night! Overall we would have been very happy here if we had a working shower/ mirror :)

    It was my second stay and yet the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, they manage to recognise us as well. The location was great. Great food are just downstairs like welcome seafood and some Chinese food. Nearby shopping malls.
