  I spent a few days at 7 lodge. Nice helpful staff, comfortable room with AC, TV, and hot water in the bathroom. Nice bed and very clean! The place is a few km out of town, you will need to have your own transport. Located in a big garden, very pleasant stay.

  Decent place to stay in Tambunan

  There's only 2 main guesthouses in town, and this lodge has slightly better amenities than the other one. Furniture is quite old, but room, towel, toilet is clean, and air condition works well. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We came here for a leisure cycling trip and found the location to be very ideal for that purpose.

  Very far from grocery store. You need to buy your stuffs first before you come here. The place is very nice and also it has Wifi (back when I was there, it's not working though). Friendly staffs and affordable price.

  Peaceful hotel away from the main road

  Its a simple hotel that offers the basic facilities, there is also 2 chalets. each chalet has a patio that connects 4 rooms, perfect if you are going with your families. They also offer breakfasts.The place is surrounded with trees and you can see beautiful birds everywhere.The only other thing is they also have a lot of mosquitoes.

  It's owned & manage by a local Tambunan family. It's not a fancy resort, but a very calm & peaceful surrounding. The room where we stayed in had 2 super single beds, clean bathroom (with water heater), tv, closet, and basic coffee facility (kettle, instant coffee, tea, cups provided). Air conditioner & ceiling fan is also provided in the room.It's not far from Tambunan town, but you may need to have your own transportation because there's no public transportation provided.There's a local restaurant in the lodge area itself. It's a very basic restaurant, but i guess you can ask them to cook for local dishes.The lodge area is also very big & can organize activities. A mini open-air hall & mini stage can be rented (just ask the management).There's also a pond where you can go fish & catch local fishes. If you want to camp, there's a camping area for the kids near the pond.Family that manage this lodge is also very friendly & helpful. With a smile, you can feel the warm hospitality given.Overall, i recommend you to try staying here if you want to experience village & local Tambunan surroundings & hospitality.
