    Spend your money elsewhere

There were so many problems with our room. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower, the ceiling was damaged and plaster falling off. The mirror in the bathroom was disintegrating on the bottom where there was water damage from the sink. The curtains were broken and wouldn't close all the way, so the sun was directly in my eyes first thing in the morning. All the doors in the hotel slam if you dont deliberately close them gently, so you hear slamming constantly. The shower was the most confusing and frustrating mechanical nightmare. Good luck figuring that thing out. Youll need an engineering degree. The water pressure also left a lot to be desired. So, after fooling with the shower controls for 10 min, you finally get in and suffer through. I would never stay here again. Hilton should be ashamed to call this hotel one of theirs.

    Tired hotel. Needs renovation now.

This hotel is shabby and tired. Fortunately it’s not dirty. One customer complained of it raining in his room (leaking window). I had noisy inhabitants above me bouncing around until 11:30 PM. I haven’t experienced overhead noise in a hotel room before. I’ll wait til they renovate before I return.

    Low budget - Stay elsewhere

PLEASE STAY ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLES. POOL IS SUPPOSED UNDER MAINTENANCE—and has been for many weeks or months. Sundries shop is being remodeled but you won’t see any progress or anybody working on it. Was there 3 days and saw ZERO PROGRESS on sundries shop and pool. Elevators are raggedy and noisy. They accept ANY breed of dogs. Hotel housekeepers speak ZERO ENGLISH. Hotel front desk workers are unprofessional and discourteous and do not belong in hospitality industry. Bad look for Hilton. The hotel isn’t just OK and is definitely not a 3-star property. Shower was fine but the 2 sinks had poor water streams/pressure and hot water issues. Great maintenance mgr. fixed hot water problem. He was best part of our stay. This hotel is an ogre and stain on the Hilton brand. PLEASE JUST AVOID IT.

    Beach Classic

    rating13 Sept 2025

Pretty good value right on the beach - can't really beat the pool and oceanfront. Nice having access to a beach bar open all day although the lunch/dinner menu is overpriced for what you get (nothing unusual for a hotel) so we mostly ate off property (restaurants nearby). Great to have the breakfast. Only comment is to avoid the 6th floor oceanfront rooms - very musty smelling - humidifier in the hallway, and towels placed under the A/Cs to catch dampness, I suppose. A partial ocean view without this smell is the best. Not sure if it's like this on floors 1-5 (full ocean-front).

    Uncaring staff. Things didn’t work.

    rating03 Jun 2025

Came to Jax for Mayo Clinic appointments. Room smelled damp & mildewed. Keys didn’t work several times. Fridge didn’t work at all. Spouse (with medical issues) had medical episode & I had to call 911. In-room phone didn’t work. After returning from ER late, hotel desk employee would not help assist with room clean up (medical event included vomiting). Would not clean bathroom. Would not let me clean bathroom. Would not access cleaning supplies for ME to clean, because “it wasn’t in his job description”. Would not help problem-solve. Big art on the wall in lobby says “making you happy makes us happy”. I was not happy. No parking spots left, late at night. Like none. Nowhere to park. Not “no good spots”. Like literally nowhere to park my car.
