    We just stayed at Banyan Tree KL for 3 nights, and had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the roof top bar with super views over the city (day and night) and tasty food. ttthe food at Torito (and the Pisco Sours) was sensational. Also handy to the Pavilion shopping / food complex, and easy to walk to KLCC and other attractions. Great breakfast with a view from the 58th floor too. The staff were so friendly, particularly Gaina, Paulo and Star … but everyone was from concierge to breakfast to reception to the pool to the bar to the restaurants. Definitely recommend.     I had a truly wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its elegant design, spacious rooms, and breathtaking views of the city skyline. The Horizon Grill buffet was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes, and I especially recommend their signature mee curry — it was outstanding.     A good hotel lacking a sense of place

    The rooms here were large and comfortable with excellent shower pressure and commanding views over the city. The pool also has excellent views, and dinner in horizon grill was brilliant with superb service to match. However, there were some weaknesses. For example, upon check in we discovered our room had a leak. To be fair to the staff, this was addressed quickly with the leak cleared, but other problems included some colour changing lights for the bathroom not working, the bathroom being very hot, likely due to the heated mirrors and the room feeling a little dated. Furthermore, whilst dinner was excellent, Horizon grill wasn't as good for breakfast, with the restaurant feeling understaffed and service running slow. Finally, the pool area, although high up, lacked any character. For such an impressive view, an infinity edge, or any lighting or decorations there could have really elevated it, but it felt so plain and boring with no services, just the pool and a beige colour scheme around. The hotel overall was good, but some maintenance issues and a lack of character didn't feel reflective of some of the highest room rates in KL. I would like to give credit to Bhavani, the duty manager however. She checked in on me when I was checking out to ask for any honest feedback. I provided some, and these seemed to be taken on board with genuine interest and appetite to improve. This viewpoint was cemented when the next day I received an email apologising for the shortcomings, which was greatly appreciated. I think with some of these changes, the hotel can be a great option, but the lack of character or identity does not make this stay feel as luxurious as it could be.     Enjoyable 5 night getaway

    We had a lovely 5 night stay at the Banyan Tree KL. The staff are extremely attentive and the hotel was well appointed, maintained and in a great location. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast each morning and a couple of very relaxing massages at the BT spa as well as a delicious meal at Torito where we were well looked after by Star and the team. The cerviche and scallops were particularly good.
