    Great location & affordable

If you don’t like the train making noise every five minutes or so get a room in the back and don’t pay extra for the great view from the deluxe queen room. The air conditioner works so well I had trouble keeping the room warm enough. The staff attempt to your questions and concerns and the place is fairly well maintained.

    AVOID AT ALL COST 🤢

    rating16 Aug 2024

This is literally the WORST property I've ever been in my entire life. When I first entered the room, the aircon omitted very foul stench. The hair dryer was covered in sticky gooey black stuff (probably boogers), the headboard of the bed was so dirty and smelly and even got dried boogers. The staff offered me 2 rooms to change but it was either moldy, or the aircon did not work properly. The female staff with glasses offered me (with a bad attitude at first) an "upgrade room" but told me I had to pay extra for it. As I saw the curtains were moldy, I didn't go for it. At night when I returned to the property, before I went to shower, I decided to check under the bedding. I found out the carcasses of insects (which were of bedbugs) and legs of cockroaches, and immediately departed to other property to sleep as I couldn't risk myself being bitten whole night by those filthy insects. The next day, they reluctantly agreed for refund after I showed the pic of those carcasses in exchange for me not posting the reviews as it was, but quite recently I found out they still had the audacity to charge for the first night. By the way that female staff with glasses and squinty eyes CHARGED ME EXTRA RM10 FOR "TOURISM TAX" EVEN THOUGH AGODA STATED THEY HAD CHARGE THAT ON THE ONLINE BOOKING.

    Pleasant Stay

    rating27 May 2024

Pros : - The hotel let me have an early check-in since I arrived in the hotel early-Very helpful and friendly staff - Good location with a lot of places to eat, shop and visit- Peteling Street is about 500m away- Electric Kettle with Coffee packs were there along with water bottles- Good cafes like LOKL Cafe is only in the walking distance-Good room and very comfy bed-Safety Box was there.- Even the "wake-up" call at 4.15am was right on time as requestedSuggestions to improve :- Might be a good idea to have a mini fridge in the rooms to store food and drinks- Maybe to add a couple of English speaking channels in the tv in the rooms- The door to the balcony right next to the room 701 (which is where I stayed) closes very loudly and it makes a huge noise to scare who ever is in the nearby rooms. Might be a good idea to do something about it

Right next to the loud train station and cockroaches in room but ok for a short budget price stay

    rating17 Mar 2024

Good for the price. Bed was ok, AC was good and TV worked. Location is excellent! Staff were also nice and let us check in a bit earlier. Paid extra for a window room but there wasn’t much of a window or view to it and someone had been smoking in there as there were cig ends just outside the window. Also it’s right next to the station and it was sooo loud!! We heard every train passing by and it woke us up throughout the night. We were on edge sleeping anyway as there were cockroaches in the bathroom and small ones crawling around the bed.

    Train Line Next To Rooms

    rating05 Jan 2024

We had booked two rooms for the last week of December 2023, one "Deluxe Triple" and one "Superior Double". Both the rooms they gave to us were facing a railway track, and in fact were at the same level with the track, which was just a few feet away. The front office staff told us the train ran upto midnight and then again from 6.00 AM. The noise of the passing trains was too much to be able to sleep in those rooms. The triple room, which was supposed to be "Deluxe" was exactly the same as the superior room, except for an extra single bed. There was not even a mirror in the room. The three occupants of the rooms were supposed to use the only mirror in the bathroom. The toilet flush in the triple room was also defective. We asked for change of rooms because of the noise from the train and the problems in the triple room. We were told that only windowless double rooms were available. Surprisingly, the hotel did not look full. We did not see any "Do Not Disturb" signs outside the other rooms around us. The front office staff said they were expecting guests during the approaching weekend. It was obvious they had given their worst rooms to us, while saving good rooms for walk-in guests expected to arrive the next day. Our bookings were prepaid and had been done more than a month in advance. Never going back to this hotel.
