    Clean room good location.

    rating12 May 2026

The location was superb; walk down and you are already in Midvalley Megamall. Walk across and you are in The Garden - another high-end shopping mall. You will be surrounded by good food. The room was adequate for a solo traveler, though I had been in bigger rooms traveling solo. It was clean and quiet. The check in was fast, and so did the check out too.Overall good experience. Will consider this hotel again should I happen to be around that area in Kuala Lumpur.

    Strategy Location

    rating15 Apr 2026

The hotel provides good service across all departments, including reception, bellboy, and housekeeping. Its strategic location is a major advantage, with direct access to Mid Valley Mall, making it very convenient for guests. The room is on the smaller side, but the air conditioning and ceiling fan work well and keep the space comfortably cool. Water pressure in the bathroom is strong, although the basin is positioned a bit too high, which may be slightly inconvenient. There is also a water dispenser located near the lift, which is a thoughtful and convenient feature. It would be even better if hot water were available as well.Parking, however, can be challenging. It is often difficult to find an available spot, even in areas designated for hotel guests. Additionally, the exit signage in the car park is not very clear, as it is small and somewhat hidden.

    Parking Facilities

    rating15 Dec 2025

I first checked into this hotel in June 2025 and returned again in November 2025. Unfortunately, there were no noticeable improvements to the parking arrangement. There is no dedicated or reserved parking for hotel guests, On one occasion, I exited the hotel and returned around 7.30 a.m., only to find that the ticket machine was faulty and the gate could not be opened, causing unnecessary inconvenience. I would recommend that hotel management review and improve the parking arrangements for guests. Breakfast served at the coffee house is average but acceptable. However, food replenishment was extremely slow, and guests often had to wait for items to be refilled. Staffing levels at the coffee house appear to be fixed regardless of guest volume. The egg station, for example, was manned by only one staff member. When it was not busy, eggs were prepared promptly; however, during peak periods, waiting times extended to up to 20 minutes, which significantly affected the breakfast experience. Otherwise, overall experience is alright.

Kettle plug exploded in the room

    rating16 Jul 2025

I was boiling hot water in the kettle around 9pm, and suddenly a small explosion happened right in front of me. I moved closer to check and the second explosion happened causing the whole room electric circuit. There are still small flames left and i quickly blow it. I was traumatised sitting alone in the dark and when i come to senses i quickly called reception to ask someone to come and check. The maintenance staff came without saying a word to me and continue to reinstall the electricity. He only wants to take the kettle away when I told him that this is a big explosion not to be treated lightly and Im not going to stay in the same room and asked for change of room. Reception apologised and accomodated my request for change of room. One of the staff came and helped me to get to the new room. In the lift, the manager of the evening happened to be in the same lift when I changed room but totally ignored me. The manager on duty on 15th July evening and the maintenace guy were totally not equipped to handle such emergency like mine. Their lack of empathy was a total letdown to the guest. To the management, please train your staff on EQ and more importantly pls conduct a thorough wiring checks as to how the kettle plug can explode! Imagine if i was in the bathroom and the flame might have caused fire inside the room. If no action taken, im afraid that your hotel could be on fire one day. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this is the first time such incident happened. Guest safety is compromised but your staff attitude is like just wanting to cover it up with no follow up.One special gem is housekeeper Jas, when I moved in to the new room I saw her note with origami. Honestly, after the trauma, little things like this is truly appreciated.

Refurbished Rooms, But Guest Safety Concerns Remain.

    rating27 Jun 2025

I have stayed at this hotel for a leisure trip with my family and was pleased to notice that it has been newly refurbished, giving the property a refreshed and modern look. The room was comfortable and well-maintained and everything was in good working order, except for one main issue: the TV program. At times, all channels displayed a “no signal” message and I cannot continue to watch the movie, this is rather disappointing. The biggest letdown, however, was the parking arrangement. Previously, there was a dedicated parking area for hotel guests, which was very convenient. Now, guests are told to park anywhere within the shopping mall. While this may seem like a flexible arrangement, it becomes a serious problem after midnight. I returned to the hotel late at night and found out that all mall entrances closed off with barricades. It was extremely frustrating, and frankly unsafe as I need to drive in circles around the mall in the middle of the night trying to find an entry point to the parking. Worse still, there was no assistance available. This situation highlighted a major oversight in guest comfort and safety. A hotel should ensure that guests have safe and convenient access to parking at all hours, and that security is available to help during emergencies — especially late at night. Overall, while the room and the renovation are commendable, the unresolved parking issues and lack of responsive guest service brought down my experience significantly. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes appropriate preventive plans, particularly for the safety and convenience of future guests.
