  This was my first hotel in Kuala Lumpur . Location is perfect near to China town . Staff were helpful specially the manager ( can't remember the name ) I stayed 3 days in Kuala Lumpur then went to taman negara . He was so helpful by giving us information about buses and train . Decided to come back to this same hotel before we catch the flight so we kept big suitcase with them and felt free to travel with a small bag to taman negara for few days .Highly recommended

  Not so good place to stay

  It was our first option in MY to stay but only lasted 1 day and had to change hotel which supposedly a 5 day stay. There were 3 of us so we choose the triple room.I can only commend the hotel for their wifi connection which is so strong and consistent but other than that our experience is bad.Lets start with amenities. Bathroom is bad. No bidet shower not working.Bed sheets smells like someone used it and not changed. We have to ask for additional bed sheets with less smell and cover up the bed so we can at least rest a bit.If you are looking for a place near Chinatown i suggest look for somewhere else or a different hotel first. This can be your last option to consider. Yea it's cheap but I think not worth the stay.

  Staying for 4 nights here, it was worth my money! Superb location, a walking distance to Pasar Seni and its LRT Station and the Chinatown. The room was adequate, clean, although the atmosphere was not so well due to the red wall paint. The bathroom was also good, hot water was available. I just didn't get why there was a pile inside the bathroom :D The staff, I met only a man there, he looked serious but somehow funny. Maybe he was disturbed by three noisy ladies, my friends and I. LOL. But, this property has no elevator. So, I climbed by foot to the 3rd floor. Tiring! Haha! So many convenient store scattered around the property. In the morning, around the corner before the LRT station, there was a lady, Makcik, selling Nasi Lemak (the signature dish), and it was yummy! The Mariamman Temple is also very close. The best thing was, in the same block, there is a vegetarian restaurant! YEAY!!! A perfect choice for budget hotel!

  CENTRAL LOCATION, REASONABLE VALUE AND SERVICE

  City Inn is in a good location near Chinatown and the Metro but is in a noisy area. My room was small, basic, reasonably comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I paid $M47/$A17 and this was good value. Recommended.

  Hotel is good as its low budget and value of money due to its location near china town.Room service is not so good and even you may need charger points by connectors due to different switches. Some switches won't work. You must bring your own connectors or have to buy. No fridge inside room for water. But still better room :)Tinny rooms as building is not so wide. Staff is average, night time a receptionist is a old man who don't even want to listen you. Always sleeping.Overall it is average hotel.
