Stunning room with a very Unprofessional Receptionist..

    rating29 Nov 2018

It's a great location and working distance to nearby city and also convinent stores, the rooms are spacious and comfortable so I have chosen to stay in this Residence for a couple of months, But I'm so supprise to see the service provided by staffs, it's really dissapointed to see such an unprofessional service from such an well known hotel & Residence industry. The Receptionist guy Name called 'Fahad' has such an bossy attitude and the way of interacting with customers is extremely unprofessional.I have rented a room for couple of months and during this period of time I have observed that the receptionist service is very worst and not friendly indeed.I'm an Hotelier too and I have an extensive knowledge on hotel SOP and procedures to render service to each and every customers and clients, by seeing such kind of service from very unprofessional staff gives such an bad image to the organisation.Being a hotel industry we should always remember to balance the customer services and businesses track. If the customer services is very poor then I don't think guest will stay even though the rooms are very nice.I would like to request concern person to provide comprehensive knowledge and training on customer services, because the Receptionist are the main interface to impress and convince customers.Remember that "First impression is the last impressions".Thanks

Not really a hotel, but ok place to stay

    rating21 Jan 2017

Less of a hotel, more of a few apartments in an apartment complex. Wasn't exactly the easiest place to find- but ask for the Putra Majestik and then it's behind the hotel (entrance B). Rooms are a good size, although haven't really been maintained and oddly furnished (had a hob, but it was an induction hub that needs specialist pans - and there were no pans). Everything was switched off when we arrived (all electrics and water), so took a bit of time to get everything switched on. However, very reasonably priced, location's fine and lots of small restaurants around the area.

Reasonable hotel in need of a facelift

    rating05 Mar 2016

We needed a room with three separate beds. The Duta gave us three bedrooms one with an en-suite. The rooms were large. There was a big lounge/dining area with a small kitchen at one end. The apartment was in need of a touch-up/make over with worn paint and appliances. The Duta had access to a nice large swimming pool.It is in a student area so there were plenty of cheap eats in the ground floor of the complex. Up market restaurants were also nearby. There was no daily servicing of the apartment in the four days we spent there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We used taxis to get into KL as we couldn't work out the local bus system which went down Ipoh Rd. a hundred metres away. We were on the 16th floor with views of northern outskirts of KL and mountains.

    Good apartment for reasonable price

Stayed for 3 nights at duta residency. We're 6 friends, we were looking for a place to spend time together. We decided to book in duta residency, instead of booking 2/3 separate hotel rooms or family/suite room in a hotel. We really liked duta residency. Service was good. We arrived late at midnight 12am and we still got room key easily.Would recommend for family or friends.

It is clean and their staff is nice and helpful. I booked on Expedia with "Standard Apartment, 3 Bedrooms, Non Smoking, City View". when i attend the room, i just realized only have 2 air-condition which in master room and drawing room. Then i ask reception to upgrade my room to "Deluxe Apartment, 3 Bedrooms, Non Smoking, City View".i pay more RM100 to upgrade it. Because i want every room has air-condition. The design of this room is more beautiful but the design of bath roomis same.
