    Affordable and still need more work to done to a 4 star hotel

    Since it’s still under recovery period of MCO , not much happening with this Hotel, Room needs an upgrade to reflect 4 star rating.Front Desk is awesome and very quick check in process. Maybe a welcome drink will be a good start.Anyway overall average for 3 1/2 star rating

    Arrival started well with reception staff very nice and helpful. Room was compact but clean, however bathroom a different story. Very tiny. Nowhere to hang anything. Not even a hook. No bath mat. Could not get dressed in the bathroom. Obviously no environemental policy as towels have to be dropped on the floor after use. Water cold as well. Housekeeping guy was wonderful and helped where he could. Brerakfast very ordinary. First day we arrived around 9am and half the items empty. Told they would not be replaced. What was there was cold as lids not kept down. Tables not cleaned. The woman who appeared to be charge was totally disinterested and lazy. Sitting down most of the time. We had to find the cultlery stations and source our own cutlery and napkins. Day 2 we came earlier and had more choice. Still the same problem with dirty tables and finding own cutlery. Can't recommend this hotel as not good value for money.

    Needs Serious Improvement

    Currently staying at this hotel.Started from the recept and check in, overheard her telling her staff that even if there is space for early check in - they should not provide the room earlier to us. - not sure rationale. Even if its true, you should not say that in front of guests. i find her comments appalling. Next check into the hotel at level 9, after 2 hours, air con was not cold and had to change to another room at level 10. No Water Heater during shower. No floor mat provided in the toilet (not sure if their SOP had changed, previously they had). After a shower, whole toilet was wet which i thought in my opinion is quite inconvenient. Breakfast was the worst i ever had. (previously had roti prata, now no more). There is an egg station but all the eggs were left there (1 plate of sunny side up, 1 plate of scramble) for us to choose from and not freshly cooked. When we approached for help, they told us to choose from one of those cooked before left there long ago (it was very cold)I think this hotel should be reviewing its SOP, their rooms and most importantly their attitude towards guests.     Getting bad to worst

    Receptionist bad attitude (an indian lady)Room aircon was hot even at 16degreeNo bath towels upon check in, Had to asked for bathed towels, worst still no hot water for shower, Room tel is faulty,Horrible breakfast ( the best was the cereal flakes) horrible hotelWill not stay here again MICE O, Hotel Manager at e.City Hotel @ One City, responded to this review Dear Mr Yeo,Thank you very much for your review on your stay at our Hotel and we are sorry to hear about your bad experience.We greatly appreciate your comments about aspects of the room that needs updating and we are happy to announce that we are at the moment implementing many of these upgrades to our Hotel within the next couple of months.     It's OK for the price you pay. A decent mid range hotel that have comfortable rooms.Service is good. I would like to extend my gratitude to Ms Geraldine Anne who simply went out the extra mile to ensure that my stay was a good one.She is certainly an asset to the industry.
