    Horrible place

Horrible place. I won’t even call it a hotel! The room was so bare, it looked like a prison. Bad customer service. Girl seemed bored and disinterested. Only the location is good. Will never stay there again.

Highly recommend simply for location and room size

I initially stayed in KL Sentral and for a first timer staying in KL this wasn’t a great experience, my Malaysian work mate had told me to stay in Bukit Bintang which I did for the second part of my trip. Hence booking this hotel which I am so glad I did. Location wise it is perfect. Bukit Bintang has a vibe going on! To enter the building go to Fahrenheit 88 main entrance and walk around to the outside left side of the building and down the street . You will see a main desk behind glass stairs. From there go up to level 5, where check in happens. You hen walk to another set of lifts to go to ur room level. I was on level 12. My room was HUGE and I was grateful for the space. You could fit 4 x king beds in there! The room was clean, no issues with any pests, the bed was comfy, bedding smelt like fresh apples which I loved! I had really good sleeps.Issues I found : A fair bit of outside noise can be heard because the windows near the aircon base units are not sealed properly. Wasn’t that big a deal for me. Also there’s a fair gap under the bedroom door so noisy neighbours coming home at 2am can also be heard. A little soundproof door edging can easily fix that! I had an interconnecting room door that had a flimsy lock, so as a solo female traveller that made me uncomfortable. I think it needed something more substantial like the chunky door latch in the main door. My only other complaint is having to pay for extra amenities such as toilet paper or tea / coffee. Once you have used what’s in ur room. I don’t like house keeping coming in so they may replenish daily but for people like me that didn’t happen. So the option should be for people like me to be able to grab the “daily allowance” from reception, and that made clear in the room. Would I stay again? 100%. The two lift system took some getting used to. But value for money. Was fab! I only paid $80 a night, so shop around for the right provider at the right price for you. It’s directly across from pavilion shopping centre, it’s 5-10 min walk to the famous alor st food market, 5 mins from train station that takes u to KL Sentral.I would highly recommend.

More Like A Family Chalet, Not A Residence.

Wanted to have a homely suite for a short weekend escape and decided that this should be the home for us. There’s a 4-level mall just downstairs with an underpass linking us directly to the basement of The Pavilion. Stepping out of the mall (Fahrenheit 88 Mall), there’s Lot 10 just beside with a basement food court and several levels of shops, including a Don Don Donki.Starhill Plaza is just across the street from the Basement Side Entrance; Sungei Wang Mall is also a short distant away; and the famous Jalan Alor Food Street is also about 10 minutes walk away (20 minutes on crowded days).Other than these fantastic amenities, the residence itself does not really have much to yell about. It is not a place you will want to stay in to enjoy a cozy homely environment. Just a place that you will come back, put down your things and head out again for more shopping and food. The apartment is old but rather well kept. Hence, some of the facilities are not pleasing to the eyes but just useable. Would love to see more washing machines as we need to queue to use the only 2 washer and dryer for the 3 blocks.Do check for all the equipment that is suppose to come with the stay. I have to report the missing hair-dryer after a treasure hunt at night after our bath. The Safe is also not working but it was replaced very quickly.Have to give my compliment to the maintenance staff who came with the wrong equipment and have to return for a second time to replace the Safe and 3 times the next day to replace a faulty light because of wrong equipment again. They tried, I have to say, to make our stay as pleasant as possible.I will go for a small suite with only the bedrooms and lesser living room space. The bigger suite I book was a waste as it was not put to use at all and the balcony was locked to store spare and damaged equipments and furnishing.

Exceptional Staffs at an Affordable Apartment in the Middle of Bukit Bintang.

    rating04 Aug 2024

We chose this apartment because we wanted to be near Pavillion Mall. This hotel is nearby 2 train stations, that is the Green MRT Kajang Line and the Lime-colored KL Monorail Line. For 1st timers, the best entrance is from the side at Jalan Gading next to Starhill. There you'll find a dedicated entrance with 2 elevators that only go up to the 5th floor, where the reception lobby is situated. The entrance from the mall may be confusing if you are not familiar with it. The mall opens at 10 am and closes at 10 pm. The only access point outside this operating hours is at the side of the building. For security reasons, guests can only access the apartments from the 5th floor and not directly from the mall.A 200 ringgit deposit is required during checking-in. 2 room access cards will be given. This access card is needed to open the glass door before using the elevators.Sometimes, guests without access card will wait around the lobby for other guests to open the glass door for them to access the elevators. Security should check up on this as paid guests cannot be responsible if unwanted guests follow them into the lifts. We booked 2 separate rooms but were upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 en-suite bathrooms. Many thanks! The all-men staff at the reception counter are exceptional. There are very polite, pleasant, helpful, friendly and professional.A staff helped us at the laundry room when we had a problem with unattended laundry left by guests. A staff also told us about the Surau (muslim prayer room) on the 3rd floor for use after we checked-out.The suite rooms are okay and all the amenities are adequate. The apartment is clean. The bath towels are a little off-white, with a slight burnt smell - probably due to overheating in the dryer. To use the laundry room, guests will pay 30 ringgit at the reception in exchange for tokens. The maximum load for washing and drying up to 6 kg.The swimming pool area is also on the 5th floor. Its quite big and unfortunately there is no lifeguard. The only issue we had with this hotel is the changing of lifts from the suites to the mall lifts at the 5th floor every time we go in and out. That is the only hassle for us.Otherwise, for the amount the hotel cost, we are satisfied with our stay here.

    Not recommend at all

I didn’t like the whole experience. To get to room you need to use two different elevators which they are not even next to each other (around 30 meters away) . The condition of the room was outdated. The noise was so obvious from outside regardless I was in the 14th floor as the window is not sealed. I could see roaches several times in the bathroom.
