    Maybe a good night or two stay in Brickfields

    Hotel is just walking distance to the NU Sentral mall, and near the Monorail station. It's also near some restaurants in Brickfields.They need a cash deposit so better prepare cash with you. Room showed signs of age, probably needs some maintenance. It's also not sound proof and I could hear people talking along the corridor a few rooms away.

    I booked here at the very last minute so I cant really complain. The stay was okay and I didn't expect much anyway. The checkin and checkout were fast. The best thing about this hotel is that it's so close to KL Sentral which is the place where you can get on the LRT, KTM, MRT and Monorail.

    Great Place to Stay and Stay Connected through Public Transport

    I stayed at the Westree Hotel for the first two nights during Kuala Lumpur leg of my recent solo trip to Malaysia. While I had pretty low expectations given the prices, I was pleasantly surprised with the facility and hopitality. Here are some more thoughts into my experience.1. Location - It is just opposite the Nu Sentral mall - one attahed to KL Sentral which is the transportation hub for the city (and probably the country). So you are literally 5 minutes of a walk out from all modes of transport in the city (MRT/LRT/Bus/Train/MonoRail). Also, this is just besides the Little India region of KL so you have all kind of food available pretty easily.2. Accommodation - The rooms are deent for the prices. I stayed at a single bed room and hence it was small enough to just accommodate a bed and leave some space for luggage. Comparitively, the washroom was decently sized. The room had all necessities including an electric kettle. 3. Food - They do not have a kitchen so this isn't applicable. 4. Hospitality & Service - Pretty good hospitality and check in was very smooth. They were happy to guide with any questions I had. 5. Others - This is a perfect place if you plan to use a lot of public transport around the city. They are happy to hold luggage but are bit strict on check-in check-out times. The overall facility is small (no plush large arrival lounges) but is still welcoming and feels safe.

    TOURIST SCAM WITH THE HOTEL DEPOSIT

    The property wanted to retain the 20 euro deposit claiming that one of the towels had and stain, stain that was in the towel before. They wanted to charge 4 euros to clean this stain off the towel. It looked like it was just a tourist scam to keep the 20 euros note.

    Hotel westree, located at KK sentral ...Just cross the road from KL sentral mall ...The location itself very strategic, busy area ...Indian cuisin/restourants around, and indian culture shops as well ...The room is very small, it's ok for myself, this is really budget hotel, do not expect too much ...Just close to railway station, mrt/lrt/ktm and bus to/or from KLIA airport ...
