    Disappointed in this Hilton property.

    First, the good— we were greeted as Hilton Honors members, which is nice, (but not a big deal), since we spend a lot of nights at Hilton hotels. The common areas seem to be fairly well kept and in order. The king room that we had was small, but clean.The not so good— the bathroom in our king room smelled like urine. Our guess is that the floor was not cleaned prior to our arrival (not a good first impression). The television in our room was not usable. There was no live TV and no cable TV… extremely disappointing! Apparently, the only thing you can do is stream apps, and although the Wi-Fi worked in the room, it did not seem to work on the TV. Not a good thing if you don’t stream TV apps or have your passwords with you. I don’t know if this is a new thing in the Hotel business, but it seems like an extremely cheap way to save a buck. Pretty disgraceful in our opinion.Breakfast was just , ehh. The food was not very warm, however, the selection was OK.It seems like an older hotel and does not have a pool.We chose to use some of our reward points to stay one night here. We wish we would have looked around and saved our points. Sorry to say that we would not stay here again with so many other options available in the area.

    My wife and I stayed at this hotel the night prior to a trip from the Pittsburgh Airport. We stayed here because we had an early flight and we wanted to utilize their park and fly function associated with the hotel. The hotel contracts with Global Parking to provide shuttle service to and from the airport. The Hampton was comfortable, clean and quiet. After checking in, the front desk actually contacted me to make sure the room was satisfactory. Front-desk staff person Jennifer was exceptionally helpful. Although our shuttle left the hotel at 3 am, the cold portion of the breakfast offerings was available to us, along with coffee, tea, juice, etc. This was an unexpected and pleasant surprise although Jennifer had assured us that we would have a packed breakfast available to us if food wasn’t available that early in the morning. The park and fly portion of our stay worked perfectly well. Getting to the airport, and returning to the hotel after our trip, worked to perfection. We were delivered in a timely manner both ways and our car was safely parked for the two-week trip. I will definitely stay here again the next time I fly from the Pittsburgh Airport.

    Poor airport shuttle service - Globe Transportation

    Check-in was a pleasant experience and room was acceptable; however, the next morning, the airport shuttle we signed up for was 45 minutes late. The lobby was filled with panicked people waiting to go to the airport. No one was at the hotel reception desk to assist. I called Globe Transportation and was told they had a driver shortage and was not expecting the influx of people. Their airport shuttle service isn’t reliable and they also service La Quinta nearby. We had to drive ourselves to the airport and pay for parking so we didn’t miss our flight. Please improve communication and airport shuttle service in the future.

    Convenient and Nice!

    Stayed here before a flight. Always a good choice to go with Hampton, the only negative I have is the toilet didnt have much pressure to flush. We did the park and ride with the Globe Shuttle to the airport and what I was impressed with was the breakfast area was open serving muffins and yogurt at 5am, I'm sure they had much more when the actual breakfast hours were but wanting to get a little something before riding the shuttle to the airport was a nice thing! Was very nice not having to find a parking spot at the airport!!

    Dirty Rooms & Issues with Booking

    First, the staff was friendly. That's the only reason they get 2 stars. That being said, we stayed here for a hockey tournament and had many rooms booked for multiple families. Many of us were not given the rooms we were promised/needed. When we did get our room, I'm not sure they even cleaned it. The toilet had NOT been cleaned & was repulsive! This made us leery of the entire rooms cleanliness. There were jelly beans all over our floor, even though we didn't brinf any. Our room was tiny, with barely enough room to walk between the bed & TV. Definitely a tight squeeze for anymore than 2 people. There were hooks pulled out of the bathroom wall and patched drywall everywhere. I was beyond disappointed with this hotel.
