  Run from this Crap Hole

  I stayed at Lacomme Inn. The hotel is listed as a 3 star, but it should be a half star or no stars. It is a dump. The first night, they gave me a filthy room with a leaky sink and dirty sheets. I had them changed the sheets and in the morning they changed my room. When I returned to the hotel, the hotel had no power. It was 1230 am and I had to sit around until after 2 am with no power. I asked to speak to the manager so he could book me a room some where else and the staff would not let me speak to the manager. They were also rude. One person told me to stop complaining because I only have one more night at the hotel. Then later that afternoon when I returned to the hotel, while taking a nap, the power in my room went off. only in my room because the breaker was tripped. Early morning the next day at about 5 am, I was sitting outside the hotel and a huge rat come near the table I am sitting at with friends. 10 minutes later, my friend looks up and the rat is in the open hold in the ceiling on the wires (which would explain why the power kept going out). This hotel is not a 3 star. It offer 0 amenities for a 3 star and it is very un-kept and filthy . Also, the room they changed me to, the toilet leaked when I flushed it. I am so disappointed and grossed out and couldn't go to sleep because I was traumatized by the whole rat experience. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTELAdditionally, the owners nephew (or so he said he was) is a little creep that tried to invite himself up to my room. The housekeeper spent over an hour trying to ask me how he can get a job in American with his experience in cleaning and cooking. He doesn't clean the hotel he currently works at good, why would I help him get a cleaning job somewhere else cleaning with his sub-par skills???

  The owner of this hotel is one of the most generous , caring people I have met on my travels he has always got a smile on his face and he helped me when i was in a difficult situation , the rooms are clean and nice enough but the owner going well out of his way to help me out makes me give the hotel a 5 star review .

  Stayed for two night at this hostel. It was a nice stay. The room was sizeable enough as expected with inner bathroom. No breakfast but there are a lot of eatery open as early as 4am in the morning. It's a tourist neighborhood near jl Alor. Got disoriented few times since the surrounding is hilly and winding with turns. Better to check location with google map to look for. Need to walk awhile to find mrt or bus.

  Pros: Free limited parking (2-3) and its close to everything. Room has bath soap & shampoo, towels, refrigerator & mini wardrobe.Cons: Noisy night shift staff. They were talking loudly until around 6am in the morning. It was really disturbing. Couldn't sleep at all.

  Great for a solo traveller on a budget, I had a small room with single bed, tv and aircon. Wifi was brilliant. The corridor outside the room was a little noisy at night. Not the cleanest but far from dirty. Would definitely stay again.
