My 2nd time staying but dissapointed

    rating13 Jun 2019

Staying for 1 night on 7 June 2019 with my family. This time we took a Deluxe room. I book the room through booking.com. Upon check in, i presented my ID but they still asking me for the booking number which i don't have with me at that time. It's seem that they really didn't welcome my arrival as the my room rate I get from booking through booking.com is more cheaper than their published rate. Through my previous experience checking in the hotel which I booked from booking.com, the hotel never request of the booking number and only enough with my Identity card and they can manage to find my booking number. But not with this Lavana Hotel. I really felt unwelcome with their staff action towards me.Room doesn't have any telephone or in house intercom. What if there is a request? Then I have to come down to receptionist to request and this cause inconvenience. But most importantly, what if there is an emergency? I did ask the staff at the front desk about the telephone, but their answered was so disappointed. The answered I get from the staff "Actually, That room doesn't have telephone". They didn't even try to apologize and try to rectify the issue. Upon entering the room, they didn't even provide any towel. We have to go down and ask for the towel. If you want to have peaceful sleep, don't stay at this hotel as you can hear people talking from the next door. This hotel does not have sound proof wall. The only different between standard room and Deluxe room is only that the deluxe room equipped with a window. The size of the room and facilities and amenities are the same.Upon checked out, they asked me to wait for a while and after few minutes I came back, they claimed that I already check out and already returned the cash deposit to me which I never received it yet. To kill the time waiting, I just go out for 5 minutes for a smoke and when I'm back they told me that I already check out and they already returned the deposit cash (which I haven't receive). So unprofessional!! After confronting with the staff, they finally returned my cash deposit. The good thing about this Hotel is the location as it is near to LRT station and to Petaling street market.I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!

    Budget hotel but really clean

    rating06 Nov 2018

For those looking for budget hotel, this is suitable as it is clean. The location is very convenience as it is near to the famous Petaling street in Kuala Lumpur. A lots of restaurant and convenience store around. It is also near to LRT station. The room is small but it is worth a price. Toilet is clean and equip with hot shower. Staff are friendly. Our request for extra pillow was fulfill by the staff. The room also provide hair dryer. The internet, its free and its fast. The only problem occur during our stay are the TV channel not functioning. It was hang during our stay. They also didn't provide any other channel beside local channel. But me and my family dont mind at all as we only spend time inside to rest. The room wall, well you can hear people talking from the next room. The room doesn't equip with a wardrobe for you to put your cloths. There is no window for the room. You doesn't know if it is rain or shine outside.

    Worst stay at this hotel

    rating18 May 2018

Stayed at this hotel. This hotel can't provide a good resting point to guest. Never booked at this hotel. Was awaken by the noises at 6.30am from the praying at Hindu temple. Alright , noise stop approx half an hour. The worst are the chambermaids are discussing and talking along the corridors, super inconsiderate. Told them to keep quiet and they continue. Guest who come to stay in hotel is to have a good rest, here being a service hotel, the most simple point you could not even provide. Never never booked at this hotel.

    Ok hotel

    rating09 Mar 2018

Booked the hotel while staying in a hotel just opposite lavana and booked lavana to stay after returning from langkawi and checked in on 15th Feb 2018 around 8 pm and check out 24 feb 2018 our last day in Malaysia. The only issue i faced was that i was offering the receptionist half amount and told him i will pay the balance next morning as i don't have enough money because i did not exchange any currency in langkawi. The receptionist refused by saying that the system will not accept half payment. So paid for that night and the rest paid him next morning. That just vost me extra 10 ringgit as they did not offer me any discount on one day stay in the hotel and I accepted it as it was not wise to room around the street looking for money exchanger just to sage 10 ringgit. The room i got had no window which was my choice as this room was cheap. Hot and cold water were available 24 hours. Internet was good. Air-condition was also good. The size of the room was ok. We stayed in room 312. The hotel is opposite to KL sentral and minutes walk from chinatown and 1 minute walk to Kasturi walk and central market. The Indian restaurant just beside the hotel serves delicious food. The staff was very welcoming. Even they printed my traveling ticket as well without any charges. Will definitely stay here if come back.
