  ⭐ A Truly Memorable Staycation & Exceptional Dining Experience at Marriott Putrajaya ⭐

  Our recent stay at Marriott Putrajaya was nothing short of memorable — the kind of experience that makes you look forward to returning. From the warm hospitality to the excellent dining options, everything came together beautifully.Right from check‑in, we were greeted with genuine warmth. A special thank you to Mr. Nicholas at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and ever‑helpful. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a Junior Suite, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We encountered an issue with our room door not opening despite the access card still being valid, and Mr. Nicholas personally accompanied us to ensure the problem was resolved. That level of dedication and care truly reflects the spirit of Marriott hospitality.The hotel team also made a courtesy call to check if everything was alright or if we needed anything — a thoughtful gesture that goes a long way. The property feels very kid‑friendly, making it a great choice for families planning a staycation.Another highlight was the evening cocktail at the lounge. The spread was impressive — almost like a mini evening buffet — and everything tasted excellent. The staff there were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, making the experience even more enjoyable.Our stay wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Zest Restaurant, which continues to impress us every single visit. This was our third time dining here, and the food quality remains top‑tier. The buffet spread is extensive, with a wide selection ranging from Malay to Indian to Chinese cuisine. The detox drinks were refreshing, and the dishes were prepared with care and flavour.The chicken curry was rich and delicious, while the tomyam noodle was absolutely splendid — easily the best we’ve tasted among the Marriott hotels so far. The variety and quality here are truly commendable.A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Christopher, who always makes guests feel welcomed. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and tireless effort in arranging tables and ensuring guests enjoy their meals deserve recognition. He sets the tone for the entire dining experience.Credit also goes to the entire Zest crew. Weekends can get very busy and crowded, yet the team remains friendly, attentive, and hardworking. It’s not an easy job, especially during peak hours, but they handle it with grace and professionalism. They truly deserve the appreciation.We will definitely be returning for the 4th time, and next round, we’re bringing our family along. Marriott Putrajaya continues to be one of our favourite staycation spots — for the comfort, the food, and the amazing people who make every visit special.Kudos to the whole team.   Kids friendly and great value

  Before checking in, I checked the app and found that our room was upgraded to a high floor, even though there are junior suites and suites. Check-in was at 2:00 PM and I asked the receptionist if they had a suite. They did, and we were offered one, but we were asked to wait for final cleaning. We ended up getting a suite. Free breakfast, free lounge access, and free late checkout. Because we waited, we were asked to wait in the lounge. After an hour of waiting, our room was finally ready. The suite was at the end, quite far from the elevator. The spacious room had been fully renovated. The living room had a minibar, dining table, sofa, armchair, and powder room. The interior has a modern feel with gray wallpaper and light gray furniture, which creates a soft, soothing feel. The room is also spacious, with a sofa bed. The room offers a nice pool view. Coffee is served in capsules, and tea is served in Dilmah or Lipton. The bathroom is modern. There's a washbasin, shower, and bathtub. Amenities are standard Marriott standards, with the Thisworks brand. The gym, though still dated, is well-equipped. There's a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Games like minigolf, archery, and a kids' club are free, but there are also paid games. There's a pool and kids' pool with showers, slides, and water features, making it a fun place to spend time. Although the slide looks small, it's quite fast, and you might lose your glasses. The pool's water is a bit warmer than body temperature. Open until 8 PM. Lounge access for evening cocktails from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The food is quite tasty and the selection is quite extensive. There's fried rice, chicken teriyaki, chicken pandan, pasta, lamb kofta, pao, siomay, fish fingers, tuna puffs, sushi, kwetiau soup, various cakes, cheese, salad, and fruit. Breakfast is quite extensive, but the taste is pretty standard for a Marriott, not particularly impressive. The restaurant is spacious but full. The menu: 1. Teh Tarik, nescafe Tarik, juice, pastry, muffin, bakery, waffle, pancake, honey, jam 2. Pudding, ice cream, fish izumidai, Japanese curry, chawanmushi, nimono, fruit, yoghurt 3. Omelette, porridge, tomato, potato, baked fish, bean, mixed vege, sausage, chicken loaf 4. Fried rice, braised chicken, braised egg, dumplings, noodle station, Indian food 5. Fried noodles, lontong, nasi lemak, sambal bilis, red chicken, plate, boiled sweet potato 6. Cheese, cold cuts, salad, nuts, cereal

  A nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of the city Here’s a nice 5 star hotel

  Because it’s about 45 minutes outside the downtown area of Kuala Lumpur, everything is spread out more. Large 1 bedroom suites. Large pool area and a hotel built like a fortress.Also, they have a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi in the same room. That’s a big plus. Though, one can tell that those amenities are a bit dated, but they still function well.

  Perfect Chinese New Year Stay – Suite Upgrade and Superb Hospitality

  We stayed at Marriott Putrajaya for 7 nights during the Chinese New Year period, and the experience exceeded expectations.As a Titanium member, I was upgraded to an Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, making the extended stay extremely comfortable. Housekeeping standards were consistent throughout the week.There was a minor maintenance issue during the stay, but it was handled promptly and professionally by the handyman. The response time was quick, and the matter was resolved efficiently without disruption.Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different preferences, with good rotation across the days. Quality and replenishment were well managed even during the festive peak period.The Executive Lounge was excellent. Service was attentive, consistent, and genuinely welcoming. The lounge team delivered a high standard of hospitality throughout the stay.Front desk staff were helpful and responsive, especially during check-in and any follow-up requests.Overall, a strong and well-managed property for both short and extended stays. I would return again.
