Deplorable y angustioso hotel / Deplorable and distressing hotel

    rating19 Aug 2025

I've had such a terrible hotel experience. From the start, the room we were given didn't even have a window. It was small, with not enough space, and no amenities like a safe or a place to leave your suitcase to keep it out of the way. The separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom was nonexistent, so every time you shower, you wet the entire rest of the bathroom. It's hard to share a room and have to follow someone into the bathroom after they've finished showering. The staff was very poor. I know it's a country with the custom of cleaning oneself in the toilet with water, but they also warn you that they have toilet paper and indeed they leave you a roll, but the kind that runs out quickly. You go down to reception to get more and they miraculously give you one. However, if you're unlucky enough to have a loose stomach (not a difficult thing to do in such significant changes in temperature and climate from Europe to Asia) and you ask for another one, they tell you only one roll per day and that's it, and you have to go buy toilet paper at Seven Eleven.Although the Wi-Fi works well, every time you leave the hotel or enter the elevator you have to enter the password again because it gets lost and it's a constant inconvenience. In short, the experience is totally negative and not recommended. Furthermore, the photos I also provide are real and not what they show on the website. At least the room they gave me is old, small, and claustrophobic.

Lost items in the hotel room.

    rating21 Nov 2024

My jacket was left behind in room 908. I’m certain that I accidentally left it in the closet. However, the hotel staff made no effort to locate it. They simply claimed it wasn’t there without checking the CCTV footage. The hotel should have questioned the housekeeping staff or other relevant personnel more thoroughly to confirm whether the jacket was indeed left behind. Be cautious when using this hotel.

    Just about a okay stay!

    rating30 Sept 2024

The property claims to be a 3 star but I'm unsure for several reasons. 1. Bed & pillows are not much comfortable.2. No waste basket inside the room. (only in the bathroom) But they clean the room everyday.3. No toiletries provided except shampoo in the wall mounted dispenser. 4. Breakfast was poor. Refilling was not satisfactory. 5. Horrible Wi-Fi connection. Most of the time there was no internet . Requires log in every time you try to connect. Upon complaining at the reception, they admitted it but could not provide any solution. 6. No room card required to access the elevator which gives you a sense of insecurity. I think hotel authority may think about it.There's a safety locker that didn't work. A big refrigerator with complimentary mineral water & coffee was there.Overall, for me it was not a comfortable stay with children. The only thing to mention here is the location, it's great. If you're travelling solo, you may choose the property just for the location. 7 eleven & many Chinese, Indian, Bangladeshi restaurants around. Jalan Alor street food is about 2 minutes away. You can access many shopping malls by walk. I would recommend the solo travelers only on a reasonable tariff.

CAVE CONVERTED AS HOTEL @ KAPPADOKKIA

    rating06 Apr 2024

It was a 11-hour Journey from Singapore to Istanbul. But amazingly our trip and three days’ stay at KAYATA CAVE SUITES at Cappadocia was not only pleasant but truly memorable. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t take the hot air balloon due to bad weather. It was a cave converted as a hotel for tourists. It’s amazing to note that these caves have been inhabited since ancient times (1000 years back) serving as homes, churches, monasteries and even as underground cities. We returned home with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for beauty and hospitality. Thanks to Sibel Aleyna our tourist agent at turkeytoursandtravels stationed at Kusadasi. Our guide Mr. Oguzhan in Cappadocia was exceptional and his deep knowledge of the cappadocia history and his passion for sharing it truly enriched our experience and made the tour unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. With sincere appreciation and thanks to both Sibel Aleyna and OguzhanRaju & Shan from Singapore
