  I chose this hotel as this is the only hotel with affordable price for my 1 night stay. Walking distance to nearby Giants Hypermarket, Decathlon & Mamak Restaurant. First come first serve parking but there are many available parking especially at night.Room was OK. I don't mind much about the furniture or the decoration. Aircond OK, Heater OK, TV OK everything seems comfortable for me.I would recommend to stay at this hotel for short term period as for me the room was comfortable.

  We stayed here as a group for 4 nights and we loved it.It was very convenient being attached to a shopping mall and plenty of yummy restaurants close by. Also a 10 min taxi to Sunway shopping centre and Sunway lagoon Park. The room was quite large with plenty of space. The staff catered really well with our requests and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast was excellent with loads of choices. The price was quite reasonable. It seemed many people stayed there for business purposes but we stayed for its location to Sunway lagoon. It's also not far from kidzania and I city.We enjoyed staying here and would certainly recommend this hotel.

  First and last stay

  As I write this review, the electricity was off almost 60 mins. Called the font desk previously and they said need 30 mins for transition with Genset and just call again they said need another 15 mins.The things is now 12:28 am in the morning and I really need some rest after long day outdoor team activity. And we just back to hotel at 11 pm. So my aircon only on for 30 mins before the electricity off. I have a very dark and hot room at the moment.

  Honestly, Empire Hotel is not my 1st choice, chose it due to the proximity to the office. The room was quite dated and furniture seem worn-out. The room was not exactly clean and I put up with it since it was only a one-night stay. Even though it was a non-smoking room, I could smell the cigarette smoke mixed with sweat in the room and it was not exactly pleasant. Nothing to shout about, the only good thing is Empire Hotel is located above Empire Shopping Gallery and you have good choices of eating & shopping options close by.

  Very good location with next door big department store, and close to Sunway Lagoon, a new amusement park. There are variety of foods for breakfast with nice taste. Good value of money and modern-looking hotel.
