  Very close to perfection

  We spent 3 nights at the rain forest hotel, it is very good located, close o any shops, restaurants and transprtation (gokl purple line stop , rapide kl and komuter station are at less than 5min walk) central market also a bit further.The staff was very kind and happy to help when we needed it. There is also a water dispenser in every floor, a lift, even if it is just 3 floor hotel.All what we wish we could have was a window, but fortunately there is a terasse where we could sit.

  Nice staff, but...

  Pros:- there was a water tank to fill up your bottles from;- cheap;- better than sleeping in the street;- the staff were very kind and friendly, and I think they really tried hard.Cons:- bed linen was very old and worn, possibly not even fresh on or clean;- bugs on the floor in the night, all scattered when I turned the lights on in the morning;- the staff had workers in who started drilling right outside my room at 8am;- communal sinks were full of food remnants (I guess from other guests);- no hot water, so started both days with very cold showers;- all electrical sockets were wonky and in inconvenient locations, which is strange for such a small 1-person room;- the flip-flops provided were incredibly dirty, would’ve been much better not to provide any;- the shower in the bathroom was a handheld one.The staff took a 50rm deposit upon my arrival, and gave it straight back when I handed in the key. They didn’t check the room at all before handing back the deposit, whereas any places I have stayed in with good conditions would always check to make sure you left things in a good state.

  We stayed here for 2 nights. Arriving late the first night. When I got into bed my bed didn’t smell at all fresh and was covered in lots of human hair. Ew. But the problem was rectified easy enough and otherwise it was great. All friendly staff and very clean toilets and showers. WiFi was mostly reliable and air con worked a treat in the city heat haze. Good little location too.

  It was a great hotel, staff were really friendly, lots of information about area and transport, kept your room and changed sheets and towels when needed. the facilities were really clean and well taken care of

  Stayed in a double room without a window. Aircon worked very good. Everything was very clean, but there was some mold on the walls because getting fresh air in is hard. Shower was super.Front office very friendly and always helpfull. Wifi was down quite often but this was not their fault.Location is very good, 10 steps to petaling street and 5 minuts to pasar seni.Over all, a good price for what you get. If you want a bit more luxury, then pay a little bit more and find something else.
