    Worst experience at Royale Chulan Damansara

    I stayed at Royale Chulan Damansara to attend a Raya Open House in March 2026. Upon check-in the room, I noticed the toilet was dirty with urine stains on the toilet seat cover. As I was very tired, I took a rest and change for dinner. At 7.30pm, I informed the reception of the dirty toilet and requested housekeeping to clean it before I come back from dinner in a couple of hours. When I went back to my hotel room it was past 10pm. I checked and saw the toilet seat still dirty. Immediately I called reception and they replied will send housekeeping right away. After waited for 20 minutes, I called reception again and was told that housekeeping will be coming. Another 15 minutes passed still no housekeeping. I was tired and wanted to shower and sleep, but I can't as was waiting for the housekeeping. Feeling extremely angry, I called reception again and this time I have to raised my voice. I told them if housekeeping does not arrive in the next 5 minutes, I will not wait any more as I have waited for nearly an hour!!Finally the housekeeping arrive after 6 minutes and he cleaned the toilet seat immediately.I could not accept that I was given a room with dirty toilet seat cover. They should ensure that the room is clean before the guest checked in. It was such a horrible experience. I strongly advise guests not to choose this hotel !!!!     Everything was good about RCD! As always as we actually part of loyal guest to this hotel. Nothing to complaint as all staff, facilities, and service were excellent!Special thank to Engineering Department staff and Reception Counter staff who helped us this morning 8 march (just within 15 minutes) as our daughter was accidentally locked the connecting door (room 1032) when she came in to our room (room 1033). We are sorry about that! You guys are excellent 👍🏻 Special thanks too to Housekeeping Team, lead by Mr Rosman (HOD) for making our rooms perfect as usual! Nothing to complaint as you always know our needs! Excellent 👍🏻 Special thanks to Mr Asri (F&B Manager) for assisting us for Iftar arrangement!     Very convenient hotel near The Curve. Thanks to Bazmeer and his team, efficient service. Supposed we stay for 2 days after that we extended 6 more days.     Decent hotel in great location but poor customer service..

    Me and my family stayed here for 2 nites to attend a big family event nearby. The location is very strategic - easy access to main roads and highways. Also, just next to The Curve Mall which has many excellent restaurants and cafes. Ikea, KidZania and other interesting places are just walking distance.We booked directly way in advance and we felt the room rates is very reasonable.The rooms we stayed (4 rooms) are all decent although quite dated but still fully functional. My issues with this hotel are mostly related to its customer service. Firstly, we’re not sure whether this hotel has concierge services. It’s almost none existence when we were there. They are some people at the main entrance who wore security guard uniform. They did help us with our luggages when we first arrive but when we checked-out those guys with security uniform didn’t even bother to help with our luggages. Not sure whether they are security guards or the hotel concierge team.The front desk team is efficient but not exactly the friendliest we have dealt with. A simple smile would have made them looks more friendlier.The other area we’re not impressed was the services at the coffee house during the buffet breakfast. Granted that we were there during peak period with high occupancy rate but they should have been better prepared for the big crowd. The foods and drinks took way too long to be refilled. And whose “brilliant” idea to offer table-to-table personalised sandwich-making services during the peak period? Just make sure the basics are up to the mark first before offering this unnecessary fancy services.     Spacious room but needed refurbishment

    Spacious room some hardware are hard to find eg wooden curtain, drinking water besides sink. Great location, walking distance to The Curve, IKEA.Rooms was old and needed refurbishment. TV was too small and signal not good. Image quality is bad.
