  FORGET about four and five stars ... I would give this hotel a GOLD MEDAL after our recent stay. I inadvertently left my wallet containing credit card, drivers' licence and cash in the hotel safe. I only found out when the hotel sent an urgent text which, unfortunately, I only read while waiting in Malaysia for a connecting flight to Australia. But I needn't have worried ... the wonderful staff at Sakmut Boutique Hotel pulled out all the stops and arranged to have everything forwarded to me at my home near Bundaberg in Queensland. My wallet arrived within a week. Sakmut had also arranged to forward the cash via Western Union Bank and I collected this from my local post office. Absolute wonderful service. Thanks a million to everyone at Sakmut.

  This hotel was located just some walking distance to IKEA Cheras and MyTown Shopping Mall...The surrounding area was some famous food joint, Taste of Foochow which serves their famous Original Foochow Fish ball and Red Rice Wine Chicken....

  The staff over the counter was friendly. Room was quite poorly lit. Can be quite noisy if its facing the main road. Very limited parking place. Only 4. Or else need to park somewhere with rm5. No water provided. Lots of prostitutes around

  Very unpleasant experience. I arrived around 11pm, given a room on the fourth floor (room 4-2), the door card is not functioning, I had to go back to the counter and asked to re-issue the card. The room door has a hole on it! After enter the room, I noticed there were ants everywhere, on the wall, on the pillow and bed, on the tv set too! I wanted to call the front desk, but the phone set was not functioning, I have no choice but to pick up my luggage and went down once again to the counter to ask for room change. I was then given room on the third floor. I can smell strong cigarette odors from the corridor. the unpleasant smell in the room and pillow cases make me no choice but to cover it with towels! Room was dark, dirty stains on wall, broken shower room door knob and dirty ceiling. Booked for 3 nights, but stayed only 1 night. Checked out the next day! This hotel is terrible!

  The most horrible hotel i ever stayed, please people around the world do not go to this hotel, its the worst hotel ever, smelly, toilet door not functioning, bed is hard, reception didnt give proper information, lights not working, tv only had one channel and its chinese, nvr give wifi password, plz even its your last resort do not go to this hotel terrible
