Strategic at the heart of Kuala Lumpur

    rating29 Sept 2018

I loved this hotel due to its location, which is near to the all sorts of public transports, be it trains, buses or taxis. You could just walk to reach some of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur such as the Dataran Merdeka or the Masjid India. It is also located near to bustling business areas such as the Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman that offers you varieties of food and apparels/ clothing. I am surely will stay again in the future.

Basic hotel outside the city centre. Room only.

    rating15 Sept 2018

A very basic hotel just outside the city centre but if you like walking, you can walk a few miles to Petronas towers. May be a bit hard to find and is located above a clothes shop. A lot of affordable clothing and different fabrics available in the area. The area is vey busy during the day, very quiet in the evening.Lift to rooms. Room only, no breakfast.

    Provided what we needed

    rating13 Apr 2018

We had an overnight stay here as we were participatg in an early morng run in the city centre the next day. The hotel locatn is very strategic as the startg line was. Just a few metres away. The locatn is also nearby food and shoppg outlets so there was no problem with meals. It is a budget hotel so we did not expect much. It met our requirements. It is best to go there by train as there is no hotel parkg provided.

Very cheap but could find better

    rating29 Aug 2017

I guess you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting much because it was so cheap but the reason I disliked it most is because it didn't feel that clean. I don't mind basic but this felt a little dirty. If you intend to simply use it as a bed for the night and a shower in the morning but not spend any time time in the room and you want a cheap price then maybe it's fine. I'd say it's more like a hostel than a hotel though. The location was ok for Chinatown though nothing great in the actual vicinity. The shower was ok and ran hot water. After that, my praise stops. The man at check in barely communicated; the free wifi didn't work; the bed was uncomfortable; the linen was stained and itchy; one of the windows in our room was hanging broken; the lift was broken but there was no indication of this so when checking out we waited for ages pressing it then gave up and hauled our bags down 5 flights only to find a broken sign at the bottom; the air-con was noisy and didn't feel cool; and outside, the street was noisy. So yeah. It is what you pay for but I'm sure you could possibly find something better even for that price.

    Great staff and wifi

    rating21 Aug 2017

This is a very cheap hotel with great wifi and helpful staff. The staff were friendlier than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in offering to hotspot me when no wifi was available. However the rooms are very basic but what can you expect from paying the minimum. The rooms were clean. The bed was a little hard for me. There's a market that goes on outside the hotel until about maybe 11/12. There was also some sort of drag race going on outside which kept me awake but this was more of a location issue than anything else. Also the call to prayer woke me up from whatever sleep I did achieve.
