    Wyndham Grand Bangsar KL I am giving this review with disappointment because I have stayed at Wyndham Grand Bangsar before and genuinely liked the room, which is why I chose to return after a very rough month for some much-needed rest.About a week before check-in, I made a booking through Trip.com. Somehow, the payment failed, although the money had already been deducted from my account. I called the hotel directly, and the reservation officer assured me not to worry. She said the room was secured and that she could see the booking details. A day before arrival, I even received a WhatsApp message from Wyndham regarding pre check-in, so naturally I believed everything was in order.When I arrived at the hotel, I was told my booking had actually been cancelled.To be fair, I understand that the cancellation itself may have been caused by a miscommunication with Trip.com or a payment glitch, and not entirely Wyndham’s fault. What upset me most was not the cancellation. It was the way the situation was handled.I came to the hotel trusting the reassurance given by Wyndham’s reservation officer and the official pre check-in message. As a guest, I had no reason to know whether I should believe the app status or ignore what the hotel itself had told me.Unfortunately, there was no empathy shown by the manager handling the matter. Not even a simple apology was offered at the start. Instead, the blame was repeatedly placed on Trip.com and on me, saying I should have referred to the app because I booked through the app. She said i can make another booking but it won't be the same rate. Eventually, after some time, I was offered the same rate I had originally paid, which showed that some flexibility was possible from the beginning.What disappointed me most was that the first apology only came after I pointed out that I had not heard a single word of apology to show any empathy. Not even, "sorry, saya semak dulu". Not a single sorry, even if its just for politeness. Only when i pointed it out, the manager said, "I'm sorry that this happened to you."I was already sad that the staycation I had been looking forward to did not go as planned, but I left even more upset by how I was treated. I was not asking for a free stay or special compensation. I was simply hoping for professionalism, politeness, and basic compassion toward a customer facing a stressful situation.I travel often and do many staycations, so this experience was genuinely surprising and disappointing especially since it come from a Wyndham hotel.

    Excelent Customer Service, was greeted with a smile from the first i walk in, until the day i check out.Delicious breakfast, no complain.Even a office staff help me when i was asking about where to go solat jumaat. Kudos to Mr. Nur Aiman, if im not mistaken, to go above and beyond and taking his time to accompany me to the mosque.
