  Fab stay in beautiful Dubrovnik

  We stayed at Hotel Lapad on a Jet2 holiday booked last minute and went for half board option which we’ve not done before. Beautiful hotel, great location with easy access by bus (€2.50 each) or Uber (€7.50) into Dubrovnik. Located on the edge of the marina opposite the cruise terminal. Classic double room was plenty big enough, quiet and comfortable. Room cleaned daily, hotel was spotlessly clean. Usual buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice hot and cold, fresh omelettes etc. Evening meal served between 7pm & 9pm varied and decent standard - always had pizza on, couple of pasta dishes, fish, couple of meat options plus cold cuts, cheeses etc. Only issue for us was food was often tepid and not piping hot although plates were warm. Drink prices similar to UK and slightly less than we paid in Dubrovnik. Easy to walk up towards Lapad or Marina for supermarkets. A couple of good bars/restaurants close by.   Fantastic location close to the water with some amazing views opposite. The staff were very helpful, chatty and welcoming. Our rooms were on the 7th floor which isn’t 7 storeys high because it’s on a slope. Very clean, beds comfortable and they were cleaned every day. Our rooms were very quiet at all times. Breakfast food was nice with lots of selection, bar was reasonably priced. Pool was clean but icey cold.   Lovely hotel Lapad

  We have just got home from a fabulous week at Hotel Lapad. Staff were so polite and welcoming. Towels were fluffy and not hard. Food was good too. I have seen reviews saying that the food was the same etc. I don't agree with this. The spread each morning at breakfast was the same but the choice was vast, something for everyone. Even our fussy teenager ate well. I would 100% recommend this hotel. The rooms were spacious and in a great condition. The beds were comfy and the bedding was spotless.   Fantastic hotel right in centre and on the harbour. Bus stops outside if needed.35 min walk to old town,which is a must.Bars and restaurants nearby and cornor shops.Food basic in hotel but tasty and good selection. Staff friendly PoolPrices in the bar not too bad considering a hotel.Rooms clean and fresh,we had balcony with view off harbour.   Double room in hotel Lapad

  We had 4 nights in hotel Lapad early November 2025. Everything was fine but if anyone is booking a double room in this hotel please make sure the room has a double bed and not 2 single beds joined together. When you complain the hotel will blame the booking platform although it's common sense for the hotel to provide a double bed.
