Location

This hotel is located by the sea on the south coast of Johor, facing Singapore Island. Johor is the southernmost coastal state, known as the "Southern Gateway of the Malaysian Peninsular". It is uniquely situated within an integrated duty free shopping and entertainment complex in the Duty Free Zone Johor Bahru. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the main business centre, the railway station, the Johor Bahru-Singapore Causeway, the Johor Tourist Information Centre and the Royal Museum. It is a 45 minute drive to Sultan Ismail Airport, Senai, Johor Bahru and a 1 hour drive to Changi International Airport, Singapore.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 400 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. Most units have a sea view. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including golf, a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Live music and a dance club are also options for entertainment.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant with air conditioning and a bar. A delicious breakfast guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte, or a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Upon checking in the appearance was great! It was like a face lift but appearance was very deceiving.I am an 88 yr old woman who joined her out of province family for a great reunion.We had booked a suite which was totally like a motel 6. We changed rooms any there was very little difference. Bathroom was renovated and bed was very comfortable.The furniture was filthy , very uncomfortable, and the pull out couch was like cement.     The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location for a baseball game at Rodgers Centre. Took the hotel shuttle to YYZ (Pearson Airport). Got on UP (Union Pearson) to Union Station. There is a Skywalk to the CN Tower, Rodgers Centre and Ripley’s Aquarium. It also connects to PATH. There is a 24/7 shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. Housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and willing to meet our needs.     I checked in very late at night (2:30 am) on April 16th, and the gentleman checking me in was very helpful and had a lovely calm energy. The front desk staff the following afternoon overall were great- and I stay at a lot of hotels for work so that’s saying something. The Crowne Plaza is always clean & a lovely stay. 5 stars from me.
