I think this is a good hotel. Everything is clean and functional, the pool is beautiful, the breakfast is nice and the shower is very good. Overall I think this is a good hotel. Need to improve as a 5-star luxury hotel by Bonvoy

A little out of the way of the main town areas but quiet location despite having shop houses with eateries. Given executive level to stay and lounge access which was great. Food wise was OK but not wide spread. Chinese dim sum restaurant was great. Room on executive level seems a bit dated with blinds blackened and torn. The body lotion is just a tiny bottle. No hand soap.. The shower, shampoo and conditioner can be of better ones like other Bonvoy hotels. Overall, need some refurbishments as somehow hotels in Malaysia always lack of maintenance be it local or international brands. It’s disappointing as such. Checked in on 1/8-2/8 - Feels good to come back & kudos to Mr Ash Shahid from front desk as usual very friendly, warm person & excellent service very smooth check in/out process. Really appreciated that i got upgraded to a spacious cozy room & they put me on a highest floor with balcony as we can enjoy the view at night & very relaxing. Definitely will come back! Wonderful Family Stay at Renaissance Johor Bahru

We had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel with our family and two young kids. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing plenty of space for the children. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast selection was excellent, with many choices suitable for both adults and kids.
