  Love the location of the hotel as we were going for a health screening at Gleneagles. The staff were amazing! Always with a smile on their faces, friendly and helpful. Always greeting you whether you are coming or going. The cleanliness of the room was great! The passageway outside the rooms looks a bit dated and could use a new coat of paint and sprucing up but otherwise the room was clean, the mini kitchen was functional and even with a wine bottle opener! My two gripes was that the aircon needs upgrading and servicing! We had it at 16 degrees, cool and full fan speed but it was still warm. Not uncomfortable to sleep but not pleasant either. Normal aircons would be freezing. We did inform the front desk but nothing was done to it. The temperature in the room was manageable for 16 degrees!!The bathroom could do with white lights instead of yellow lights. It was cozy dim not bathroom bright. The shower hose needs changing for sure and the toilet seat should be the same size as the toilet bowl. Aside from this, the toilet was big enough, had enough ventilation. could do with more hooks though. I would definitely stay here again as it's convenient to get back to SG and to discover different parts of JB without the traffic and the crowd that you'll normally find. It's nice and just a 5mins drive to Eco Botanic!   Nice place for a short stay when you visiting legoland

  We had a pleasant stay at the Somerset Medini Iskandar Puteri, booked this service apartments for 4D 3N stay as we were visiting Legoland. Good thing is the location was quite near with the Legoland. Across the apartment there's a small mall with many option of fast food, food court and supermarket as well.Downside : limited facilities for the kids playground. There is no entertainment nearby.   Smiling and Happy Faces of the employees

  September 2025We got 3 rooms in total from 11 Sep to 14 Sep respectively. My review will be based from the 2 Bedrooms which I booked from 11 Sep to 14 Sep. The check in process was done promptly and the bell boy assisted us with our luggage / bags promptly as well. Only set back was the WIFI in the room which we have highlighted to the front office. Its very bad and slow till we checked out on 14 Sep. The rooms conditions needs to be upgraded there soon as there were some rusty on side doors and walls. When we checked in, one of the rooms smelled of cigarettes and the front office assisted us with this immediately. Parking has to be improved. Lots of 'blocked' and unused. IF the disabled car park lot NOT in used (I believed the hotel should have the list of requirement from the guests), please open it up for guests. Some lights at the back were not working. Security at car park not able to converse in English well. Overall stay was good. Credit to the front office, bell boy , housekeeping team who worked tremendously during the busy period. They never lacked of smile on their faces.   Great Stay for Our Legoland Trip!

  We stayed at Ascott Iskandar Puteri as part of our family trip to Legoland, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a full day at the park.The service was excellent throughout our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was handled smoothly. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool, it was well-maintained and a great way for the kids to wind down.Location-wise, it was super convenient for our Legoland visit, and we would definitely stay here again the next time we’re back.Highly recommended for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay near Legoland!   One night at Somerset Medini

  Stayed one night at Somerset Hotel Medini. The basement carpark is chargeable at RM5 per night—fair price, but it’s very dimly lit, which might be a concern for some. Thankfully, there’s a security guard on duty which adds a bit of assurance.The hotel lobby was neat, and there’s a Starbucks self-service machine if you need a caffeine fix—just note, it’s chargeable. Staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming, which gave a good first impression.When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised by a nice, fresh fragrance—none of that typical musty hotel smell. The room was clean and well-kept, showing they take their housekeeping seriously. Bed was comfy and provided a good night’s rest.Only downside? The water pressure in the shower was quite weak—definitely room for improvement there.Overall: Comfortable stay, pleasant room, and friendly service. Just hope they brighten the carpark and boost the shower pressure next time.
