    a convenient hotel in Georgetown. within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping spots. our room was quiet and comfortable. there is an onsite reflexologist. very nice after a day of exploring georgetown.our room was clean . the staff were helpful

    We stayed at this hotel about ten years ago and had a great stay,sadly this visit wasn’t brilliant,the whole building needs refurbishing,our room was shabby and the bathroom not very clean,to be fair the bed was comfortable but the bedding was worn,the air con was good and the wi fi was reliable,we had a fridge and kettle but no safety deposit box.The breakfast was adequate and it’s served up on the roof terrace which again needs lots of attention.There are 2 lifts which is a bonus,and an iron and board available.Most of the staff were very helpful especially Vishnu who is a real asset to the hotel he was so kind and extremely helpful,sadly on reception the desk a couple of the women staff were not very welcoming,just a smile would have been nice!!The great thing going for the hotel is its location,the whole of George Town is on your doorstep and the little park is just across the road.

    This is our 4th time staying here in the last 8 years. Good value for your $$ and great location, close to all our favourite hawker stalls.Rooms are large but no sound proofing. Can hear when someone is taking a shower or talking loudly in the next room.This becomes a big problem when the guy takes a shower at midnight!The highlight on this trip is Vishnu (aka Vincent), the front desk person. Imagine our surprise when he smiled and greeted us on check in - never happened before in our last 3 visits. He was also very accommodating when we told him about the location and type of room we want. On top of that he spoke 4 languages..

    My account was compromised and used for a fraudulent booking at this property. Despite reaching out immediately, the hotel was unhelpful and inflexible, redirecting me elsewhere rather than assisting with the resolution. Their lack of cooperation regarding an obvious fraud case is deeply concerning; I would not recommend staying here due to their questionable business ethics. . I would also advise travellers to be very careful with their payment and passport details when dealing with this property

    Don't book through hotel website, it's all lies

    Nice hotel with a central location and within walking distance to most places in Penang. Rooms OK, most things provided but towels not changed daily. Do not book through the hotel web site as you cannot believe what they say there. They claim to be the cheapest way to book but Agoda was cheaper for my dates. The invoice you receive from the hotel is not what you will pay as they add more taxes on arrival. They also say that sst tax is 6% but they added 8% to my bill. They claim a 20% discount at the bar but the barman doesn't know anything about it. They also claim better rooms but our room had an outlook to a passage and another building. Save yourself money and book through an agent but the hotel is fine once there with plenty of attractions and amenities within walking distance.
