  We stayed at Chymes for a family holiday and booked 5 out if the 6 rooms. It's was perfect! The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and very spacious. There is a lovely lounge to relax and sep area for kids to hang out and play. Beautiful sea breeze in the evenings. Vivian and Eric were warm and friendly and easy to deal with. Will def be back again.

  The location is good, peaceful and the area is big enough to host a party. The rooms with different themes are well decorated, big and clean, perfect for family gathering. The beach is still a distance away, the road access to beach is covered by grass although it's claimed that few days ago the worker came to trim the grass already. It's recommended if you would like to rent the place to stay, or hold an event organised by YOURSELF. Don't get the service from the management to let them help you in organizing your party. The service provided is not bad, however, they will take advantage to over charge you in some cases, saying that this is the best offer etc. It does not matter if you pay extra to get service, it is just that the host is not honest at all in this business.

  Perfect for family gatherings

  I was here for a wedding held there last weekend and was impressed by the size of the rooms provided here - it was definitely perfect for a wedding or a big family gathering, because the rooms are SPACIOUS. There's a yard at the back of the house should you wish to hold any events or parties.The only improvement that I can think of would be that there were uncleared stuffs at the garage area (most possibly from previous visitors of the place? IDK), and that it was a bit off the main road so you may need to have a car to drive around. Otherwise, it was lovely indeed.

  We booked the hotel based on the highly recommended and good review given by others tourist.This hotel is really fantastic, clean and comfortable for us. We have given Aquamarine room for our night stay. This room was large and extremely comfortable.We're also very happy to recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Penang Island.

  Nice stay in Chymes Penang during our short escape to Penang.Clean room, good pillow and mattress, quiet surrounding. Well, I do feel Chmyes do need some small maintenance anywhere =)We were fully charged after the short stay there in Chymes.
