  Bad experience and service... NOT RECOMMENDED!!

  Stayed for a night. Unfortunately, the air cond did not working well as 16 celcius was so warm as it was 26 celcius. The sheets and blankets were dirty with some black stains on it. There was no wifi provided even though they promoted that they have it. The towels were so old as some of the towels provided were yellow. It looked like dirty rags. Complained everything to the owner but he did not even say sorry at all. Worst experience ever and it is quite expensive. Seriously not recommend this hotel at all.. Regret my choice staying at this hotel.

  Even for a budget hotel, this hotel just fine to family, friend or solo traveler, the price a affordable the location also good near to 24 shop, restaurant also the Batu ferringhi night market. If you are going to the beach also 5 minutes away from the hotel by foot. All kind and type of Watersport in the beach area.

  Very Traumatic Unhygeinic Experience-- pls be careful u could get sick

  i visited this hotel 2 months ago on my trip to Penang.Well what can I say ..it was weird from the start..the manager or owner of the place was never there when any problems arose and the girls at reception didn't understand basic English.There was a shoe mark on my bedsheet which when I asked to be removed was told that the staff had left( it was 11pm yes i know) so the sheet couldn't be changed and maybe I myself was stepping on the bed with shoes on.Hmmm interesting. Later after insisting the sheet was changed but photographs were taken CSI style to prove what i was saying was true.But the next day was even better I realised to my horror that the as soon as the toilet was flushed the water would start coming out on the floor of the bathroom. !!!At first i was pretty sure my eyes were tricking me and it was maybe water from the basin but then after flushing a few times I realised with disbeleif that the sewerage water inded was coming from the toilet. ON TO THE BATHROOM FLOOR!!! Yes..Ofcourse when I complained the owner was not there as usual.( he only arrives at mignight convinient when the staff has left and customers asleep) and when i did see him I was told that I was imagining things and no one had ever complained about this before.After showing him the leaking toilet the owner was redfaced and said he would change my room.Well the next room upstairs beleive it or not again had sewearge water leaking on to the floor!!!.I was shocked..Anyways this time there was no other room available..( thank god i was leaving next day) and his solution simply was to send me to the staff bathroom which was used dirty and without any light.His promises of sending a plumber over never materialised.Never in all my life of travelling extensively and staying in hotels all over the world have i encountered such a scary and disgusting problem with such shameless staff to boot.I know islands have drainage issues but places like this should be banned or kept under strict watch by the municipality and hygeine dept of Malaysia.I really thought people should know and be warned about legal "hotels" like this in Malaysia.Horrific filthy an experience I'd rather forget..oh and if u need the suitcase to be brought down from 2 floors up being a girl, the staff is not available and you will need the taxi driver's help get it down..any shining point of this dodgy pigeonhole

  Excellent Location, Bad Room

  This hotel is located strategically nearby the famous night market and surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores and banks. The room is just nice for a couple to stay with 2 power sockets at your disposal should you plan on charging your phones. Unplug the TV and you'll get the 3rd socket as well. My first time here during the rainy season and I ended up getting a room that leaks pretty bad. At about 3AM, I was given another room when I reported this to the staff. I thank the hotel for that. Suggest they perform some checking on all the rooms before giving it out to guests again.

  Had a 3 days 2 nights stay at this budget hotel at rm72 nett per night. Room is at a good size, comfortable and cool. Laundry can be done at rm2 per kg... Hotel is just after Eden mall/plaza. Some issues with the connection of wifi, hope they can fix it... 5 mins walk to the great beach with lots of beach activities... Night market just right downstairs and KFC and McDonald's just around the corner... Great place and great customer service... Will definitely stay there again if I visit batu ferringhi again.
