    A Fig Tree Experience

    The place is secluded and quiet. If you are looking for a getaway from your busy life, this is a good place to consider. I think only Digi has cell coverage here, Maxis definitely zero. They have wifi but it's not stable. They go by chalets of different sizes and each is equipped with a karaoke set. Overall I think it's quite pleasant to stay if there not too many people in your group.

    Insta-friendly but lack of maintenance

    It is an Insta-friendly resort. I have taken many beautiful photos.However, I wish the resort can be maintained in a better way. Termite treatment shall be applied immediately to sustain the natural resort and facilities. It was observed that there was limited resources that the workers were multi-tasking as drivers, admin, waiters, cleaners and etc.

    We stayed 1N in the resort at Lily Villa, the staff in charge was very helpful and welcoming. He tries his best to help whenever we needed help.Road on the way up is bad and narrow, and limited (very small) signage. Be extra careful if you plan to self-drive.Many woods (stairs, balcony, etc.) are aged and in need of maintenance / replacement, it could be dangerous for kids (or even adults) if they are not careful enough.Fridge (freezer) in the villa really needs de-froze and cleaning. It smells so bad until we dare not put our food inside. Ice build up in the freezer covers almost of of the space, we had to remove some to put our drinks (no, you can't chill you drink in the fridge but to put in the freezer).One last & most important thing! It's best that the owner pre-warn your client (especially those who booked Lily) if there are any groups/company coming for team building. If needed, why not check with your client if they want to swap/change the room type, I'm sure most of them will say yes. We had one group coming for team building at the pool during our stay, they utilize the pool whole afternoon (until dawn) so we can't actually enjoy/relax at the pool but to suffer with their inconsiderate noise WHOLE AFTERNOON! FYI, Lily is the villa that is facing swimming pool, so think twice before booking this unit.Overall it is an enjoyable trip, despite the noise.

    A great escape from city

    It is really up in the middle of the jungle. A little inconvenient to get there unless you have a car. Other than that, it is a beautiful place amongst the nature. Really quiet. Huge villa. Great for a family retreat. Breakfast is served to your veranda. I went with my husband for our anniversary trip and we enjoyed the quiet time. They had in house karaoke, a shared swimming pool. It was value for money.

    The resort is located outbound from the hustle bustle city, it is surrounded by forest and it is very suitable for escape from city. The only imperfection of this resort is the road leading from city to the resort, it is very dangerous narrow road. Some more, it is very dark during night, there is no street light. The signage leading all the way up to resort is small and damaged, some are not clear enough to see. Phone signal is very weak so it is hardly to contact if misleading the road. The staffs are helpful in the resort, the resort is very good. Maintenance should improved as wood inside the resort seems old. You have to bring own food for dinner, they only provide breakfast.
