Location

The hotel is located in the centre of Georgetown. It is just a stone's throw away from a whole host of shops and food stalls, as well as the business district. Batu Ferringhi Beach is just a 25-minute drive away, while the war museum is 35 minutes away and Kek Lok Si Temple is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. It is approximately 30 minutes' drive from Penang International Airport to the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 192 rooms, which are located on 23 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park.     We came to stay in this hotel during Thaipusam period. Superb hotel with all facilities like drinking water dispenser outside each level & also common sharing of ironing board at same each level. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous !👌Special compliment for the frontline staff Ms Pravina who served us politely with smile! Overall, Kudos to the hotel management!!     Me and my husband stayed here for 6 days - we booked as wanted a central hotel but have free parking and a pool on a budget. Paid about £220 for a week so very reasonable our room looked towards komtar and it was big - my mother in law stayed in a room on other side and was twin and it was smaller but still fine. The location is brill lots of places to eat around and easy walk to Gama the oldest department store in Penang it is also opposite Bunin market at the weekend. The staff were brill friendly and helpful, breakfast wasn’t to our taste I’m English husband Malaysian and it was not great for either of us. The pool was nice small compact but good enough and a nice breeze as on roof. We never had a problem finding a parking space which was good.     Contemporary hotel with stylish decor. Rooms on the small side but everything you need, comfortable beds. There is an ironing board and iron along with cold water machine on each corridor. There is a bar serving drinks and snacks. Breakfast ok but very slow egg station.     Extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Neo+ Penang.

    Extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Neo+ Penang. Upon arrival, my Bluetooth headphones (Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus – worth approx. €160) went missing in the lobby. Hotel security showed me CCTV footage of a completely different person, insisting it was me, and have since refused to provide access to the relevant footage.To make matters worse, items I left in the room fridge (energy bars and water) disappeared within hours of checkout and were never reported by staff or found by the next guests. This raises serious concerns about internal security and staff conduct.Despite repeatedly requesting a fair resolution or reimbursement for the stolen headphones, no compensation was offered. I experienced a lack of transparency, inconsistent explanations, and zero accountability.Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values trust, honesty, and proper guest service.
