    Not recommended hotel very dirty and lot of insect in the room the price dont match with the quality can be beter very old and smelly you can see the nest in the corner i choose to run a way and stay in other hotel after 30 min of the check in beter than risk.

    I love budget hotels... Been to lots of them and I know the expectation when staying at this kind of accommodation. Cheap, basic amenities, no frills concept.However Hotel Seri Malaysia Pulau Pinang just set a new standards of how a hotel should not be. I've stayed with them a couple of years ago and I know how bad their services are, but after several years maybe they might consider improving at least a little, but they prove me wrong.Check in 2 days ago, and the impression is not good. Complaints from the customers at the counter (hot water, cleanliness, etc). I thought maybe he was because bg fussy. I've got the 3rd floor room which is not a problem without lift. The room is ok but the air-conditioning is unreliable. The temperature control doesn't really works.The breakfast buffet nothing special with limited spread. I saw few tourists who bring in their own food. Don't know why but I assumed the choices of F&B is not enough for them. And the seating are so limited. I know that it is School holiday session but when the customers standinh for 10 minutes with food on their hand and no one even give a damn, then it is intolerable. I do ask for a container for me to take away the food, but as if they care.So.. Seri Malaysia hotel... If you do read this review, good, please do something for the sake of your own good.For me, no more Seri Malaysia ever. To be honest I'm ashamed they have Malaysia in their brand. Change to other name please

    stay for 1 night since the hotel is nearest and affordable with me meeting place. the breakfast choice limited but ok and the room is ok. there is no remote for aircond. i have to switch off manually. the room is clean and tidy.

    We stayed for 3nights. It wasnt that bad, but wasnt that impresive either. Its worth the price. Quite an old structure compared to the ones around. If only they could refurbish, place new furniture,bedding and make the hotel area nicer, it'll be great.Room was clean and tidy, but signs of wear and tear are obvious. Breakfast is ok. No towels provided by the swimming pool,so bring your own.If its raining season, try not to stay on the ground floor rooms. Our room was actually flooded at 4am on the last night of stay, due to heavy rain and i guess the drain around the hotel wasnt properly maintained. To be safe,just get the 1st floor rooms. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Overall,it was a good stay.

    Good location. Courteous staff. Clean big rooms. Bed and bed linen not upto the standard. Wifi not working in all rooms. Breakfast was not at all good. Same menu everyday. Lot of restaurants nearby. 7/11 is nearby. One new eureka hotel is nearby. Maybe that's better.
