  Disappointing. The room smelt of smoke. The restaurant was not very good. We told that we could not have a gin and tonic because there was no tonic water. Later we found out there was. Also they run out some of the beers. Finally we were told we could not have steak because there was not any of this either. Not up to the normal standard.   Very Hepful Receptionist. Room was Good

  We had not booked but stopped around 8pm. Patricia on Reception was very helpful and found a room for 3 of us. I explained I am claustrophbic so she let me have a look at the room. It was fine. The room was clean and I felt comfortable in in. It's very difficult to explain how some hotels just don't feel right when you are shown the room but this one did. Thank you Patricia. We will definitely stay here again on our way to Spain. Excellent for an overnight stay.   Friendly service and good food. There is a bios across the road, and good restaurants to find.The room was need and the breakfast was perfect. Because I must take some pils in the evening and morning I missed a bottle of water in the room.   We have stayed her twice in the last month, and on each occasion, Romain , the manager, and his staff have given us attentive and wonderful service, including specially prepared vegan dinners. We have always been very satisfied with Campanile Hotels, but Aubiere is the best of the best. As a family we would rate it ten stars for Value and Service!! Highly recommended!!!   No1 Campanile in France

  We have stayed in many Campaniles throughout France over the last ten years, accommodation has been adequate, food satisfactory but predictable but all were clean.However this hotel is refreshingly different.The manager Adeline is warm and friendly and speaks very good English. The food is very good indeed and the presentation second to none.She is ably assisted by Hugo Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have been refurbished to a very good standard.
