    Dirty, filthy, disgusting!

    So dirty, there was a cigarette butt next to the bin on the floor, pubic hair everywhere. The carpet looks like it’s never been cleaned, I put my crawling twins on the floor when we first got to the hotel room momentarily whilst I was sorting the bags out so hadn’t noticed how dirty it was. Their legs were black from the dirt and they were covered in other peoples hair. When we booked the rooms stated electric kettle but this is not true. I called reception as I needed this to make baby bottles and they said they don’t have but to get hot water from the restaurant which sounded easy enough. This was not easy, when we asked at the restaurant they advised they don’t have hot water. I spoke to reception as it was late and was worried the babies wouldn’t have formula, they spoke to the restaurant who gave us a filthy coffee stained flask, I advised it still had coffee in and this would make the babies sick. This person said speak to reception and walked off. I ended up bringing the bottles down and getting them to fill directly, this took 40 mins!Ice machine is filthy, I wouldn’t put that ice in anything I’m consuming. Pool is cold and in the middle of the reception area with absolutely no privacy.We were going to stay two nights but thankfully only booked one in advance as even that was a difficult ask. We had a trip early the next morning from that hotel or we would have left.

    I booked the hotel for the second time as I really liked the first stay. I called to make the reservation as I was told it was better by a hotel employee. I spoke to Tatiana on the phone who reassured me that my stay would be unforgettable and it sure was (not for the right reasons). I asked the to give me one room with two queen beds and one room with a king. I also asked for the rooms to face the pool as it’s inside the hotel. Once again Tatiana said she would make sure I would have that. When I got there on Saturday, November 23 Tatiana checked us in. She said that we had to get room 337 and 336 but only one was facing the pool. I asked her about the conversation we had o the phone and she just said she didn’t have any other rooms. I was not happy and she didn’t care and completely ignore my request. Once we entered our rooms we were not happy. The room facing “the pool” had no view whatsoever. I called downstairs and Betsy answer saying that she could not assist us. As I was waking downstairs, there were two different people waking into rooms on the same floor as ours. When we checked out, they over charged us and we had to speak to the manager as showed the reservation. I was very disappointed with the hotel. Tatiana was very unprofessional and didn’t care as I have stayed there before. They treat you very well if it’s your first time but the second time you are treated as if they are giving you the room for free. I will never stay at this hotel nor do I recommend anyone staying here. There are other choices around.

    Nice Staff but Old and Moldy

    Booked a 4 night stay and had to leave the next day. The rooms are old and smell very musty, like a basement that has had water damage in the summertime. We had rooms on the 1st & 3rd. The 1st fl rm# 112 was so bad the everyone in our group who spent more than 15 minutes in the room smelled of mold on their skin and their clothes. My room was at the end on the 3rd flr. The corridor smelled old and musty, but when I opened the room, the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Unfortunately, the hotel (along with every other hotel in Guadalajara) was booked. Every one in my group noticed the odors, but were unable to change hotels. They did move rooms. Since I have a severe sensitivity to mold and odors, I had to leave. The staff was as nice. Many people that I've spoken to in Mexico don't notice the humid & musty odors. Unfortunately, I do and it affects me tremendously (lungs, sinuses, headaches). The common areas were clean and looked dated, but nice. The restaurant has very good food and was the meeting point for breakfast. The place is centrally located and near City Market and a short drive to the baseball stadium where the Charros play. The staff felt bad for me and tried to help, but unfortunately couldn't so 5 stars for them. I write this review for the people that have sensitivities & allergies like I do. If you're 25 and are looking for an inexpensive place to stay and don't care that it smells musty and is dated, then this place is for you.

    We didn’t get the room we booked. Room wasn’t clean and a person named Oscar was rude and didn’t help when I asked questions. The walls are really thin and there were kids running back and forth all night. I got barely any sleep

    Clean, rooms, but very out dated. Great location, some rooms are to small, with window to inside patio. Great location. I will not stay there again less is the last option.Needs a real renovation.
