    More lost than paradise...

    rating14 Jan 2026

The room was very noisy (near a generator) and poorly furnished. Breakfast, not included, was served in a poor attached bar/restaurant. There was no beach. The pool was in the shade, with two loungers spaced far apart.

    Relaxing Paradise-like Stay

    rating28 Mar 2025

Great location with charming design and craftmanship. The flowers were almost enchanting and there are many picture-esque points of interest to satisfy those with an eye for photography. Would return again if given the opportunity. Sadly, I couldn't explore the entirety of the place as some were under renovation.

    Get Lost in Paradise

    rating21 Mar 2025

Extremely unique experience compared to a regular hotel stay - the entire building and each individual room is intricately thought out in terms of design and guest experience. The beautiful pool and beach front lounge immerses you into total relaxation, washing away all your troubles. Highly recommend this for a relaxing beach front experience in Penang, away from the hustle and bustle of the town!

    A pleasant stay

    rating27 Feb 2025

It was a good stay overall and we had a spacious family room . The beds were comfy . Getting in and out of the hotel premises were challenging at times due . The pools were adequate but some of the tiles were slippery when wet and one of our travellers fell and cut his foot open . There is no beach at all for the hotel . Note - if you checked out before 8am make sure you make arrangements as there is no one there until 8am

    Relaxed vibe

    rating13 Jan 2025

We stayed in the Senja suite for four nights. The room had more than enough space for the four of us and felt quite luxurious! There was definitely a relaxed vibe, which we appreciated. The main pool was great for a dip after a hot Penang day. There is also an infinity pool but we struggled to find it at first due to building works happening. There also isn't a lot of space to sit at the infinity pool and it was a lot cooler than the main pool, probably because it doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight. This place seems to be a bit of a drawcard for locals and tourists alike, particularly on weekends. It was a little frustrating for us, as our suite was located right near the restaurant and we felt at times that we didn't have a lot of privacy. There were some entrance doors we could close but there were also workers on site using the doors for access so occasionally we would look out the window to someone taking pictures right outside our front door. Despite there being signs everywhere that certain areas are for hotel guests only, the allure of the photo is too great for some. We even saw one lady walking around, peering into windows. The hotel has some staff who try and prevent this where possible.Be warned, if you're travelling with children, the location is somewhat remote and there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. There is a cafe on site but the menu is limited and pricey by Malaysian standards. You can catch a bus or take a Grab to Batu Ferringhi, which is around a 10 minute drive away. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but did struggle a bit with the isolated location (only because we had children in tow). The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We'd definitely come back again once the kids are a bit older.
