    We have visited One Pacific Service Apartments in Penang multiple times, and on every visit the standout feature has been the exceptional food and restaurant experience. As travellers from the UK, we are always keen to explore local cuisine while also appreciating places that understand international tastes – and One Pacific delivers both brilliantly.The breakfast buffet deserves special praise. The spread was generous, fresh, and thoughtfully curated, offering a great balance of local Malaysian dishes (pandan chicken) alongside familiar Western options. This made it ideal whether you wanted to start the day with something comforting or be a bit more adventurous. Everything was well prepared, flavoursome, and constantly replenished, and the quality remained consistently high across all our visits.We also had lunch at the restaurant, and this was equally impressive. We ordered char kway teow, nasi goreng, tom yam spaghetti and chicken chop, and every dish exceeded expectations. The char kway teow was packed with flavour, well balanced, and clearly cooked by someone who understands the dish properly – smoky, savoury, and deeply satisfying. The nasi goreng was fragrant, hearty, and comforting, with excellent seasoning, while the chicken chop was perfectly cooked, generous in size, and great value for money. Portion sizes were notably very generous, especially considering the reasonable pricing, making it excellent value for money overall.What truly elevates the dining experience, however, is the staff and service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, but we would especially like to thank Wan, who was consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. The team went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy, and they were extremely accommodating with various food requirements and preferences, which we greatly appreciated. This level of flexibility and care really makes a difference, particularly when travelling internationally.It is also important to commend the chef and kitchen team. The consistency across multiple visits speaks volumes about the pride taken in the food. Whether local Malaysian favourites or Western dishes, everything was prepared with care and attention to detail.In summary, One Pacific Service Apartments is a place we confidently recommend, especially for anyone who values good food, generous portions, and excellent service. We have returned multiple times and will continue to do so whenever we are in Penang. A sincere thank you to the staff and chef for making every visit memorable – your hospitality truly stands out.

    New Cafe in Hotel - Very Good and Reasonable

    A very nice service hotel close to many hospitals, shops, sites and restaurants. Rooms very nice and reasonable. I have stayed here several times and the staff is always pleasant and the rooms clean. Of special note: On my last visit I found that they have replaced their existing cafe with a New, Better one for breakfast. I believe it opened at the beginning of July! What an improvement and reasonable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, very good and something for all of us! I will definitely prebook this breakfast with the room on my next visit!

    Clean rooms. Central of George town. Just that too many parked cars around the area, these vehicles alarm goes off the whole night till morning. No one attend to the parked vehicles. Grab is easy, still affordable for bagpackers. Good for exploration locals area.
