  Cheap but still overpriced

  On the plus side:- Great location in little India, right across the street from Kapitan restaurant which is open 24h and has great food for a decent price. Just a short walk away along Chulia street is Chinatown with street food stalls and the nightlife of Love Lane.- WiFi was very goodOn the minus side:- The room provides no sound isolation whatsoever from the heavily trafficked Chulia street, and to make matters worse, the nearby mosque likes to crank up the volume on the speakers during their calls to prayer. Make sure to bring ear plugs if you are planning to sleep.- The hostel did not provide toilet paper for the room, which was a first during all my travels.- The room rate was marketed as including breakfast, which it technically did, but it was a joke: it consisted of a glass of coffee and two slices of toast joined together by a razor thin layer of jam. Considering that the hostel is managed by an actual restaurant (where breakfast is also served) it's pretty obvious that this puny breakfast is only a way to game the system om booking sites. They could easily provide a decent breakfast instead.- The room was marketed as having a desk, but it did not have one, and the electric outlet was so far from the bed that there was no convenient way of using a plugged-in device.- The aircon was not adjustable. It was operated with just a button; on or off.

  Recommend for backpacker but not family

  Not recommend for family trip.The motel quite difficult to find as there was no proper signboard. It is near to Street Art and motorbike rental services (just 3 min walk from the motel). The Rapid bus stop only in front of the motel and 5 min walk from the jetty terminal. Last but not least, the manager quite nice as we can check in at 10 am instead of at 2pm.   DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

  Location is great but simply not worth the price. The room was dusty and smelly. Toilet was dirty and water was dripping from the shower all night long. Walls are paper thin, no privacy. Air conditioner was not blowing cold. There was a mouse too not only in my room but in the room opposite mine on the same night!!!! Left that place early morning the next day. NEVER COMING BACK

  average motel in the middle of little india

  I was looking for a cheap motel in georgetown for one night and found ros heriateg motel. for the low price, the motel was ok.the rooms are very simple (without windows) with a bed, fan and ac. there are shared showers and toilets on the corridor.the motel is situated in the heart of little india, the ancient city-centre is in walking distance. The street in front is very busy (with different restaurants nearby).

  The place is beside an Indian restaurant which was quite a challenge to find because there was no signboard. I stayed in a single room with no window (not even stated on the facilities section), the bed that's uncomfortable for the back, found hairstrands (not mine) on the pillow, bed sheet that's stained, no mirror, no tissue, no hot option for the shower, bathroom that has mold everywhere and the gunk in the toilet bowl and sink, cobwebs and dust (accumulated on the bed and around it. It was noisy and there was a leak from my bathroom. The wifi is very weak. The good points are the nice reception staff and the location. Most of the heritage attractions are walking distance. But then again, there are other hotels, homestay, BnB's that are way better.
