  Poorly maintained homestay. 3rd Floor walkway lights not working. Some of the light switches are broken. Booked via agoda and entitled for agoda cash reward but on arrival date agent request to do bank transfer instead before letting us know the unit number. Inaccurate advertisement claimed to have Wifi but there is non upon entry. There is no soap provided too. Enquiry on the missing Wifi was never responded. Feels like a scam. Agoda do free properly advertising but booking somehow got cancelled at the end leaving customer without the entitled agoda cash rewards and no chance to review/feedback on the properties in agoda. Hence this feedback was made on tripadvisor instead for others to be aware.

  This is the worst homestay we've ever booked. The entire property is not maintained and cleaned (dusts everywhere & dirty floors, broken switches, ceiling in one of the bathroom on the third floor is broken with a huge hole, no amenities and toiletries were provided at all - only towels were provided, there's no WiFi although it's advertised Free WiFi, one of the bathroom on the second floor does not even have a shower head - practically showered from a pipe and a lot more). The unit we got was very far different from the photos shown in the booking app.The host (Dan Lim) is selective in answering our questions, trying to avoid answering questions when we informed on all the problems we had, not helpful at all.Made the booking through Agoda, payment was done before the check-in date through bank instant transfer as requested by Dan Lim and yet they cancelled my booking in Agoda after we've checked in. I believe it's a way for them to prevent their customers from leaving a review in Agoda.This place is definitely not a good choice.

  Poorly Managed Property

  We were here for a family trip, booked via Booking.com under "New Corner Shamrock Beach Villas Seaview". Apparently they have few units so no necessarily you will get the corner unit. And we got the middle one (Unit No. 5). What we can see is this property is poorly managed.First, the grasses at the parking bay is not cut. Secondly, one of the bathroom window (the glass) is missing and they replace it with a piece of cloth and clip it there. Third, the water heaters in all bathrooms seem not working well, when ask the person in charge (Dan Lim) only told us need to on the heater at the top floor first. We tried but still don't feel any hot water. Fourth, the ceiling fan at the living room is not working. Fifth, no WIFI. Sixth, no extra tissue papers, some in the bathroom only little left.And the last thing which made us so pissed off, the customer service attitude of Dan Lim. When we sent him messages showing him the broken window, he simply replied "Yes", and "Yes sorry" for the not functioning fan, meant you still rent out the unit before fixing the problems.Please DO NOT EVER COME this.

  Booked in this place 14 days before the date of arrival and the duration of the reservation 4 days from January 3 to January 7. Immediately after my reservation, I contacted the person in charge of the villa, his name is Dan Lim and he did not mention to me any conditions regarding the villa regarding the reservation.No shoes n no smoking in the villaMust switch off all aircond n electric when go out to avoid wastage charges RM80/dayMust keep cleanPls note there is cleaning fees RM150 if we found out very dirty when check outPls note there r 10 towels n a hairdryer at ground floorPls return all to ground floor upon check outPls do not move around the furnituresNo pets are allowed unless informed earlierNo party, bbq, steamboat or events are allowed unless informed earlier.Pls note check in time is 3pm or after. Earlier checkbin subject to availability n utilities charge at rm50/hourPls note check out time is 11am or earlier. Late checkout is subject to availability n utilities charge at rm50/hourMax guest as stated in Yr reservationsExtra guest will be charged RM 50/night

  Thank you for hosting usWe booked this villa from an abnb siteWe were family of fourNo other channels on tv except for ChineseNo shower lotion or shampoo provided in all the wash roomsKitchen ... had no rubbish bags or washing liquid to wash the kitchen ware( thank god...we didn't do any cooking... wanted to be relaxing holiday)First floor... master bedroom... the aircond was cutting off every 1 hour and doesn't come onThe washrooms ... doesn't have bidets2 floor... the big room flaky stuff was falling from the ceiling... we guess it was either paint or plaster ceiling flakesWe informed the host the next morning but no action takenA bit disappointed.... we had to go thro another sleepless niteMy nephew who has allergic sinusitis with rhinitis fell sickIts no doubt the villa is value for money.all we wanted is to have a good rest but that was deniedThank you
