Location

This resort is located on the famed, sandy beach at Batu Feringgi, nestled between the sea and emerald green hills. Guests may explore the Batu Ferringhi night market which is only 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. The Penang Butterfly Farm and the Tropical Spice Gardens are 10 minutes away by car. It is just 16 km from the centre of Georgetown and 25 minutes to the shopping facilities of Gurney Plaza, while the tourist centre at Penang is a 35-minute drive away. Penang Island is linked to the mainland by the Penang Bridge spanning 13.5 km across the channel, and the island's numerous attractions include sandy beaches, a diverse culture and heritage as well as fine food and shopping. Penang Airport is 30 km away.

Facility

The resort has 5 lifts and features 303 rooms, including 100 single rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Other amenities available include an ironing set, a trouser press and a tumble dryer. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, crazy golf, golf and a putting green. With windsurfing, jet skiing, banana boat rides, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. A kids' club and a dance club are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a café, a bar and a pub. Half board can be booked. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Good hotel. Not as good as the Bourbon hotels that I stayed at in Curitiba and Sao Paulo. I was on the 17th floor with a nice view of the city. The gym is nice. The pool is nice, and there is a big area around the pool where people can sit and relax. There is a sauna as well. However, I could not find any towels on any day in the gym/pool. There is also no Wi-Fi in the gym area.The breakfast restaurant is small and can sometimes get too crowded. Otherwise, no other problems with the hotel.     Well serviced stay with helpful staff.Easy enough access to major places of interest via Uber etc.Room and facilities great value. Restaurant and room service are reasonably priced.     Affordable hotel good for business trips

    The hotel is located up on a hill, not central to the downtown area which may be a good thing. It has English speaking staff. The rate was very reasonable as it included breakfast. You can uber from to the hotel very easily and affordably.You get what you pay for and in the case of the Bourbon, I think you get a good value for the money.The room is clean and basic. Small bar area which is usually not staffed in the afternoon and evening. You have to go into the breakfast room and find staff there to serve in the bar / lounge.They have a small gym and outdoor pool and patio. There is no furniture on the patio so it's useless. Also, the position of the pool is such that in the afternoon, it is entirely in the shade. If you want to get some sun by the pool, it has to be before 1pm. Breakfast is decent.     City business type hotel. Very practical with reasonable lunch and meeting rooms. Rooms are very clean and updated. They did have English speaking staff at the front desk. Reasonably fast internet service in the rooms, basic gym facilities.
