    A cosy and charming boutique hotel

    We have stayed at Yeng Keng for 4 times; each time we have enjoyed our stay and we will certainly return the next time we come to Penang. Yeng Keng is a gem so centrally located, you can walk to Penang Road to savour all the local delights. It is a charming heritage boutique hotel which truly reflects the culture of Penang. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; we would like to express our appreciation to the Manager, Ms Yeoh as well as the front desk and restaurant staff who have made our stay so comfortable and cosy. Thank you very much! We highly recommend Yeng Keng especially for visitors who drive as there is ample parking space despite being located in the heart of the city.

    Nice stay in Georgetown

    Had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent, with many restaurants, cafés, and major George Town highlights within walking distance.The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere and has been beautifully restored, combining heritage character with comfort. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was spacious and included a nice small living room area that made the stay even more comfortable.A couple of minor downsides: because of the proximity to the main street, the room could occasionally get a bit noisy. Breakfast options were also somewhat limited.Overall, a charming heritage hotel with great character and an ideal location for exploring George Town.

    Beautiful hotel

    We had a lovely 5 night stay in the Yeng Keng suite. The hotel gets lots of attention from passers by, as it looks wonderful! Very clean, with a lounge area and patio. Great location, close to everything. Beautifully serene once inside. Lovely pool, which was fabulous to cool off in, with pool towels provided. The staff were so helpful with great recommendations where to eat etc. So much to see and do in Georgetown. The restaurant attached to the hotel was really good too. Would recommend without hesitation. Thankyou for a great stay!

    Lovely stay at a wonderful boutique hotel

    Amazing hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Beautifully decorated interior, very nice rooms and a fantastic bonus having a pool to be able to cool off in!Rooms are very cute that help to add to the wonderful vibe of the place and are very clean.Good choice at breakfast.Staff are so friendly, helpful and kind there - probably the biggest plus of the place.Only drawback is the noisy call to prayer from the mosque over the road which can disturb you if you are a light sleeper - but it is a Muslim country so can be expected and is no reflection on the hotel either.

    Lovely heritage style hotel, a peaceful haven

    This jewel of a hotel is a peaceful haven in the centre of the chaos of Georgetown. The staff are welcoming, polite and efficient. The rooms are spotlessly clean and full of character. We stayed in a courtyard room which was at the rear of the hotel and it was decorated in traditional style, lovely and quiet with no noise from the busy street. Room a little smaller than it appeared in the photo but fine for a few nights.
