  very poor hotel but lovely staff

  where do i start, the good points1 nice staff2 across the road from the beachbad points1 slow book in, we got there at 1130 told to come back at 1415 which we did but the foyer was full of school children so even though we had been at 1130 we had a long wait to check in.2 the lift was broken for 2 days i was with a disabled friend and we were both on the 3rd floor.3 breakfast, cold cold cold, scrambled eggs like rubber, bacon was like bacon bits.4, the noise from outside our room from what i can only describe as an over worked air con unit, poor sleep all week5 the view from our windows please see pics this hotel i will give a 1 star, i will not recommend it and i will not go again.

  Basic Hotel, Great location but couldn't fault the cleanliness!

  Having read numerous reviews prior to booking, I knew that this was a basic hotel with no frills, i.e. no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities, no balcony etc, but knew the room did have a hairdryer, TV and air conditioning. The price and the location was right for us as we spend very little time in the room as we are out sightseeing all day so just needed clean beds and shower etc. On arrival greeting wasn't terribly welcoming, but ok and having been allocated a room with instructions on how to get there was a shock as we made our way across walkways and around the pool to get to a building which we couldn't initially believe was correct. Anyway it was scruffy from the outside, but had a clean reception area etc. We stayed for 7 nights and was fortunate enough to be given a room on the first floor in the annexe away from the main hotel. Room was very spacious, basic, but very clean. Towels changed everyday. Matresses were very clean (in fact looked new). Sheets were also changed during our stay. Daily cleaning was very good and never had a bad nights sleep. Overall couldn't fault the cleanliness of our room, with clean sheets and towels. The cleaning staff were very friendly. We were also away from the noise of the nightclubs and bars etc.Overall after our initial thoughts - of 'oh no what have I booked' we had a very enjoyable stay. Yes, hotel was basic, but most importantly very clean both the hotel and the corridors/reception etc. Would stay again. You get what you pay for - no thrills hotel, but cleanliness is our top priority which is what we got and of course the fantastic location. Also next door to our Annexe reception was a bar restaurant which was extremely good and convenient.

  This place is an absolute dump! It’s by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It claims to be a 3-star hotel, but it doesn’t even deserve half a star. The toilets smelled awful, the sheets were stained, the window wouldn’t close, and the walls were damaged. The manager was nowhere to be found. Honestly, guests should be paid to stay here, not the other way around.

  Room was very basic with no facilities such as fridge which was disappointing in the hot weather. No balcony either. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Also very unclean. Pool area was nice but 90% of pool is very deep, so not ideal for just hanging around in pool with friends. Location great for being on the party scene but would definitely book alternative location if to return Malta.

  we were really skeptical on this hotel before going because of all of the bad reviews BUT we were very pleasantly surprised when we got there. We booked three separate rooms and all were good spacious rooms with no problems, it wasn’t noisy at night as referred to in these reviews. The pool area is amazing (sun-beds were very comfortable and there were always a good amount available, no need to get up early!) and it is directly opposite the beach and a 2 minute walk from the strip. All towels and sheets were changed everyday, the only problem was that the towels were stained and not too clean but they were definitely useable. I would say that if you are going on a group holiday on a budget this hotel is perfect! it’s not the height of luxury but it’s definitely worth it for the money !
