Location

This comfortable hotel enjoys a central location directly on the beautiful St. George's Bay on Malta's north coast. Enjoying an exclusive location with wonderful panoramic views of the neighbouring island of Gozo, the centre of St. Julian's with its many restaurants, cafés and other entertainment venues lies just 1 km away and may easily be reached on foot. Links to the public transport network are to be found just 500 m away and Malta's beautiful capital, Valletta, is just a 20-minute drive away.

Facility

The hotel has 40 suites and 212 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and full board.     Not sure this hotel is 5*. It is ok - a bit run down and shabby around the edges. Not suitable for children I would say as the outdoor pool is very small given the size of the hotel. The hotel is a bit out of the way and in the middle of a building -site . The building site i understand is temporary but it did make walking down to the bay a bit difficult. I have visited Malta many times and this is the worst 5* hotel I have stayed in.

    Only one small pool open, about 60 sun-beds available for a hotel with over 250 rooms, carnage, jet 2 advertise pools at the Lido, even the guy at reception told us the way to the Lido, it’s shut till mid May, outside there is a massive construction site for a new hotel build, to get to St George’s bay you literally are walking along side the construction site with large lorry’s driving by and dust everywhere, yesterday the pedestrian walkway was blocked by a skip, unbelievable.No snack bar at the hotel, for daytime food you go to the main bar, it will cost you 40 to 50 euros for lunch for two people, that’s if you eventually get served.Personally I feel conned by Jet2 and Radisson Blu, an expensive holiday which was was almost ruinedAvoid Melody Mejia, Guest Services / Front Office at Radisson Blu Resort, Malta St. Julian's, responded to this review Dear Go18845394943,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.I am really sorry to hear how disappointing your stay felt overall.     I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was nithing short of amazing, every dish was flavourful, fresh and well presented. What truly made the visit stand out, though, was exceptional service. The staff were incredibly accomodating, and geniunely welcoming, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Its rare to find a place that delivers both outstanding food and such a high level of hlspitality.     Wow factor!! The rib eye is cooked to perfection. Service is outstanding. I've been too many restaurant in the island but le bistro is one of the best. The service staff is all accomodating, kind and always smiling. I would like to mention Ms.Gherlyn for her attentiveness, kindness and extra ordinary service. We truly appreciated her.
