It is located in a quiet part of Qawras on St. Paul's Bay. The lively centre of Bugibba is close to the hotel and provides excellent options for shopping and entertainment, and the coast is also very nearby.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 193 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL“Quiet” hotel is a lie. The hotel false advertise the entire thing. I came here from May 20th to May 25th with 8 friends, a group of four (my group) booked a week earlier than the other group of four however we had same flights and paid the same amount of money. We got to the hotel and were appalled at the attitude of staff, the women were rude and could hardly speak english, when we got assigned our rooms my group were put at the back of the hotel so we had to walk through a wedding reception room, a softplay and a restaurant just to get to the lift to our room. Our room was for four people but was tiny and disgusting. We had one bathroom that was dirty and old. The mini fridge did not work so all our drinks were warm the entire 5 days in the heat. We had only one room and the bathroom, the room had two beds that were uncomfortable and only had sheets and what looked like curtains. The other group who we travelled with had a lovely, clean room with multiple bedrooms and two bathrooms with a hygienic bath and shower and they also had proper bedding, white quilts that were comfortable. Their mini fridge also was fully working. Our entire stay we heard the constructions noises, machinery being operated and hammers banging on the wall. None of this was stated in the hotel description or even explained to us at reception upon arrival. Because of this we hardly slept. In addition to this, the staff were so disrespectful. The female staff were not helpful at all and very rude. Everytime we came in and out we got stared at like we were animals and when checking out the staff member Rhia, looked us up and down and stated talking to her colleague about us in a different language and laughing. Because of this I made a complaint in the hotel and when we got home.

    Overall I have mixed opinions about Soreda Hotel. First thing I noticed was the hotel was located in a fairly run down residential area. Our room was large and spacious but the decor and room amenities were basic but adequate. We weren't too happy with the bathroom as it needed updating and some good tlc. Our room view was bad as we had the opposite side of the hotel to look at as our view. Photo shown. The room hallway was drab and basic and even the lift looked old and had poor lighting. I did notice the other side of the hotel was nicer and seemed updated. The restaurant was pleasant, food choice and quality wasn't too bad but some of the dishes could have been a lot hotter. We found most of the staff friendly and polite especially the staff at the restaurant. I was very disappointed as there was heavy work, banging noise going on the upper floors on one day that did disturb us a lot so sadly we did have to complain about it. Overall the decor and style of the hotel was quite nice. I would say at best the hotel is a three star plus hotel. I know this is nothing to do with the hotel but we noticed a lot of construction work and road work going on further out of the hotel including just outside. Photo provided. I would say there's definitely some work and updating required and then it would make this hotel a nice pleasant stay.

    We chose to eat in as didnt like on offer out nr us . We were greeted ok and told 33 euros with drinks for buffet . We had bit of starter and i then chose hot meals which mainly indian . From buffet to table was 3 steps and my food was tepid to taste so complained . The maitre d asked why etc . He was abrupt and i was quite intimidated in a restaurant full of guests . He tok my plate n brought back stating its at correct temp . We walked out n refused to pay . At breakfast the general manager stopped us and said you room 209 you owe money . I tried to explain . He did not meet us with a good proffesional manner etc . We said we speak at some point . Very unhappy and since eachday the staff very cold with us . They need to have more personal skills . My husband woorks in a very exclusive hotel in dorset and he knows the ropes . We are not spendiny a penn more there . Also the pool needs a revamp as bit untidy by bar . Its not a 4 star and rooms need upgrade. Its more3 star and the pillows are 2star guest house .

    The hotel was very nice but I did not like the reception, every time when the indian were there they were very friendly but when the evening reception was there they were just ignorance receptionist rude and won't even speak to you and I found that Nepalese lady receptionist should not even be there with her so 'I'm something' shouldn't be there I don't even know how some company could even employ her with her so rude manners don't even know how to greet customers so rude. I won't be going there with the staff like that and I won't be recommending anyone else from London.
