    We went there for a couple of days and were all extremely disappointed. The establishment is really dirty and not really attractive.. the hosts seemed loss when we first arrived.. The reception was really hard to find… The room was okay but there were a little bit of dust everywhere. The mattress on my bed moved a lot during the night and i had to put it in place every 30 minutes! The bathroom sink was found in the shower. No soap bar or shower gel were given.. we needed to buy it ourselves. No iron were given to us we needed to buy our own. The breakfast was an okay bun with jam, butter and an egg. Around 10pm the power cut and nobody came to give us torches or candles. We could hear the hosts talking to try getting the electricity back though. The only positive point is that the host(man) is quite nice and that the water gets hot after some time. In my opinion, for the price we could at least get a bar of soap, an iron and some cheese included in the breakfast.NOTE: There is no dining room. Breakfast is served in the hosts’ one and you need to wait for other clients to finish for you to get a seat.

    I was flying out of Mahebourg. Flights were getting delayed so I needed a hotel for a single night. All hotels were full because of the same and this was the only place I could find. Booked this hotel on Orbitz. Called the hotel and informed them I will be arriving late. When we reached the hotel they stated they did not have any reservation for me. On our way back to the airport the taxi driver called them and they shamelessly told him they had the reservation but had given it away to another customer who offered to pay them more in cash. On top of that they tried to charge me for the room as a no show.

    Lee bamboo is a good, clean and neat hostel. The rooms were very clean, the environment was also clean. The host Mala and Vishnu were very hospitable. Vishnu helped and advised to see the place of interest. I travelled like a local. the breakfast is free, they served a Bun, Banana and cup of tea or coffee.

    Me and my friend got a really nice first couple of days in Mauritius at Le Bamboo. Thanks to the great couple Mala and Vishnu that work at the guesthouse! They made sure of a really cosy and friendly atmosphere. The location is set not too far from the fantastic beach Point d'Esny and the more touristic Blue Bay - just a bike ride away (and they offer free bike rental at the guesthouse). 😁

    good place to go for night life ! very amazing and friendly with live bands also sometimes !A drink at the bar and dancing also ! i recommend that Saturday nite there will change your holidays for good and you will also meet lots of Mauritian Friends
