Location

This beach resort is ideally situated on the west coast of Mauritius, in the part of the island famous for its amazing sunsets and its dry and warm climate, even during winter months. It is a five-minute drive from Flic en Flac, a bustling picturesque village with a choice of boutiques for local arts and crafts, beach and fashion wear and fantastic souvenirs. The west coast is rich in entertainment, cultural and historical heritage and natural wonders.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 65 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and a fan ensure comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. Water sports available at the resort include water skiing, windsurfing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards and yoga. A spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and Ayurveda treatments are included among the wellness options. For an additional fee, massage treatments are also available. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant with air conditioning, a breakfast room and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast gives guests many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We had a family holiday (4 couples) at Maradiva. Wow - what an exceptional experience.The resort is quite stunning with amazing grounds, lovely grounds and really well spaced out making it very serene. They catered really well for us all as we are all vegetarian.Add to this the fantastic service levels and enthusiastic staff at reception, the restaurants and bars - without exception and too many to name. They are so responsive and always with a smile.Thank you all at Maradiva for making our stay so special and memorable.

    This is the best hotel we have ever been to. The ambience, the food, the staff, have all been 7*! We were a family of 8 celebrating a 90th birthday and 40th anniversary. Everyone took so much care of us and especially of our parents. We were not treated like clients but like family by everyone at the hotel. They made so much effort with the vegetarian food and created a whole special vegetarian menu for us at every meal - it was delicious, our thanks to the chefs. The staff at the Cassine restaurant for breakfast and dinner were awesome as were the bar staff Special mentions to Akeel, Gavin, Elodie, Manish, Anacy, Pravin who made it sos so special all the timeOur thanks to Mariam and Aki who responded to our every request with a smile and ‘oh yes no problem’ attitude. So congratulations to the staff and especially to the management who obviously train and inspire the staff where they all look so happy to be here. We look forward to returning next year.

    Amazing villas. Exceptional in villa dining service. You can literally get pretty much anything in your villa. The pools are heated. Awesome beach. Awesome spa. Service was good but at times hit and miss. However when we raised this with the manager they gave us a complementary dinner to ameliorate things so they are responsive.Lovely afternoon treats daily! Gym decent too. Food insane. Try the curries.Would've preferred something special given complementary as it was our honeymoon.
