Location

A prime seaside location, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, a sense of space. This resort, on the stunning and preserved eastern coast of Mauritius, on a kilometer-long beach, is the perfect combination for guests looking to experience the lagoon and the beach at its best. With its thatched roofs, its whitewashed walls and huge bougainvillea, the hotel is bursting with seaside charm. The sea is omnipresent here, with translucent blue waters bordered by an endless white beach. Those who love sea sports will be particularly spoilt. To the North of the hotel is Roches-Noires, which as its name (“Black Rocks”) indicates, consists of volcanic rocks - molten lava - that leaked into the sea before cooling off and forming natural steps. Palmar has some of the nicest beaches around and a vast lagoon. The East coast is known for being breezy in the winter (to the delight of kite and wind-surfers). Catamaran excursions are a great way to navigate around the smaller islands, including the popular Ile aux Cerfs and Ile aux Aigrettes, a sanctuary in the South of the island. The East coast of the island is well preserved and full of colourful history. It’s certainly worth taking the time to explore the little villages and towns to discover a warm and hospitable island.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 77 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a flatscreen television and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. 2 wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The resort has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy bocce and beach volleyball. For a fee, cycling/mountain biking is also available. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, paddle boating, sailing, snorkelling, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, kitesurfing, banana boat rides, catamaraning, diving and parasailing. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis and darts or, for a fee, billiards. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes 2 restaurants and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
