    We were absolutly satisfied. Everyone of the staff was always very kind and helpful. Room was cozy and clean. There were life music every night that we enjoyed very much and also other activities like sunset vibes. They have very good drinks and food but the choices of the food sometimes wasn’t enough but I understand that they don’t want to make too much and waste it so it’s okay. Location is also good, the beach is just over the street and there was practically noone during the two weeks. We had a car and it’s also a good starting point for many adventures.     Felt Discriminatory Treatment as a Mauritian Guest - No Response from Management

    I recently stayed there for 3 nights beginning on 12 May 2026, and unfortunately, this turned out to be a very disappointing hotel experience, particularly regarding the treatment received from the F&B team during dinner and breakfast services.From my very first evening, the experience was troubling. Upon arriving for dinner at around 8:30 pm, I was neither welcomed nor shown to a table. As a solo guest, I had to walk around and seat myself without any staff member acknowledging my arrival, asking for my room number, or offering any assistance. Throughout the evening, I was not approached to take a drink order, or even check whether I needed anything.What made the situation particularly upsetting was the visible contrast in treatment. Guests around me, especially foreign guests, were receiving attentive and regular service, including drink orders, assistance to their tables, and frequent staff interaction, while my table remained largely unattended. On my first evening, the only interaction I had was a bottle of water being placed on my table.Unfortunately, this pattern continued during breakfast service the following morning, where I again noticed a clear difference in the level of attentiveness shown to me compared to other guests.The experience became so uncomfortable that despite being booked on a half-board basis, I chose to skip dinner entirely on my second evening because I simply did not wish to go through the same situation again.On my final evening, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, hoping things might improve. Regrettably, the same issues remained. While other guests were welcomed and assisted to their tables, I once again had to find seating myself. My table had no flatware, requiring me to actively seek assistance. Water was only served after some time, and it took approximately 30 minutes before a staff member approached me to ask for my room number.Over the course of my stay, the repeated difference in treatment became difficult to ignore and genuinely left me feeling uncomfortable, marginalised, and unwelcome. As a Mauritian guest, I unfortunately came away with the impression that I was receiving significantly less attention than foreign guests around me. I sincerely hope this was not intentional, but after experiencing the same situation repeatedly, it was difficult not to feel discriminated against.What is even more disappointing is that before posting this review publicly, I chose to address the matter directly and professionally by sending a formal email to the hotel’s General Manager, giving management an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue privately. Unfortunately, the matter did not appear to be treated with importance, as I did not receive any meaningful follow-up or attempt to contact me regarding a resolution.Hospitality should be based on equal treatment, attentiveness, and respect for all guests, regardless of nationality. Sadly, this was not my experience here.     Rooms great - Lovely big comfy bed, excellent bathroom facilities, spacious balcony, air-con and a fridge.Located on Tamarin Beach. The most beautiful sunsets!Food choice is really good.The layout of the hotel grounds and facilities is so nice. Very cool vibes 😎.But, the main thing that really gives this hotel a 5 star feels, is the staff!
